Rotary Club of Baroda Greens: Spreading Vision & Care! 🌟

We are thrilled to share the success of our 1st Round of Eye Checkup Medical Camp, organized in association with Parul Institute of Ayurveda! 👁️✨

The camp witnessed an overwhelming response from the Gotri area, with 140 people attending, ranging from energetic 8-year-old children to wise 75-year-old elders. 💙

A heartfelt thank you to Kailashji, Dr. Vaidehi, and her dedicated team, along with Prof. Sonal Pujara, for their incredible efforts in making this camp a success. 🙏

We are proud to have distributed 55 pairs of spectacles and essential medicines to those in need, helping bring clarity and care to their lives. 🕶️💊

Special thanks to Rtn Rajeshji, Rtn Nikhilji, and Rtn Neetuji for their valuable presence and support. Together, we continue to make a difference! 💚

Anemia Mukt Bharat Abhiyan – Special Program at Waghodia Kanya Shala

As part of the Anemia Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (AMBA), a special program was jointly organized by the Rotary Club of Baroda Greens and the Rotary Club of Mumbai West Coast, with the generous support of IDBI Bank's CSR initiative.

The event was held at Waghodia Kanya Shala, where 100 girl students actively participated in hemoglobin testing and health awareness sessions aimed at promoting nutrition and anemia prevention.

The program was graced by Mr. Yogesh Chhabile, Branch Manager of IDBI Bank, who emphasized the bank’s commitment to supporting such impactful community initiatives. The event was successfully conducted in the presence of Dr. Ruchi Shrivastava, President of Rotary Club of Baroda Greens, along with esteemed Rotary members.

The primary objective of this initiative is to raise awareness about nutrition and health among students while taking proactive steps to address anemia effectively.

A heartfelt appreciation to the Rotary Club organizers, supporters, and the dedicated teachers of Waghodia Kanya Shala for their invaluable contribution in making this program a success.

Held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, from 11 am to 1 pm at the PIET DS Seminar Hall, the event was organized by the Rotary Club of Baroda Greens in collaboration with Parul Institute of Engineering & Technology - Diploma Studies. On July 31, 2024, RC Baroda Greens conducted an awareness session on the Chandipura virus, focusing on essential monsoon precautions at Ankhol Village Prathmik Shala. The activity covered information on Chandipura virus, malaria, typhoid, and other diseases, as well as flood effects and basic flood care. The school community actively participated and enjoyed the session, gaining valuable knowledge on health and safety measures. This initiative helped raise awareness and promote better health practices during the monsoon season.
