Introducing our performer Anuradha for Shaam-é Satrangi, an evening of celebration and community on 10th January 2026 (Saturday) from 4-8pm at BPC.

Anuradha is a photographer working primarily with fashion and people. Her practice is rooted in conceptual imagery that avoids direct communication, allowing space for the viewer’s own interpretation. She is drawn to exploring stories that are personal, imagined, or collective and translating them into visual forms that feel honest, layered, and emotionally resonant.

भार्गव पटेल ने 2018 में कला महोत्सव में राज्य स्तर पर बाल कवि पुरस्कार प्राप्त किया। फिलहाल ये B.Ed. की पढ़ाई कर रहे हैं।
भार्गव राज्य स्तर पर बाल पुरस्कार awardee रह चुके है।साल 2018 से ये त्रिवेणी ग्रुप ऑफ थिएटर से जुड़े हुए हैं और अब तक कई theatre workshops और presentations का हिस्सा रहे हैं। प्रसिद्ध लेखक और नाटककार लिखे नाटकों में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा चुके हैं।
साथ ही, काफ़ी art festivals में इन्होंने नेपथ्य कलाकार के रूप में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया है।

Introducing our performer Preeti Das for Shaam-é Satrangi, an evening of celebration and community on 10th January 2026 (Saturday) from 4-8pm at BPC Hall, Alkapuri, Vadodara
As Gujarat’s first female stand-up comedian and co-founder of Mahila Manch, a feminist stand-up collective in Ahmedabad, Preeti Das has been crafting laughter for over 16 years. She is also a storyteller whose theatrical ventures include co-writing and producing “Voh Ladkiyon Wala Natak,” a play celebrating women and challenging taboos, and performing a special act, “Love, S*x and Dhokla” that explores the vulnerabilities of urban women, earning nationwide acclaim. Additionally, Preeti is a notable investigative journalist who has earned the prestigious ‘Ladlee Media Award’ for Investigative Journalism in 2015-16 and been credited for her groundbreaking series on gang-rape survivors in Asia.

Jimit Nayak harmonizes two apparently opposites in his dance and daily life, the body and the mind. It is best explained by him, “Engineering is the art of organizing the world, and Kathak is the art of organizing the soul. By day, I’m immersed in logic, blueprints, and problem-solving. But when the ghungroos ti**le, the world transforms into rhythm and storytelling. One keeps me grounded; the other sets me free.”

Shrey Leena Shah (he/him)
Shrey Shah is an independent trans man filmmaker and photographer from India whose projects focus on gender, health, education, and marginalized communities, and reflect a deep commitment to truth, empathy, and social change. Shrey’s style is intimate and honest, capturing stories that often go unseen. His journey now expands into fiction with his debut as a writer, director, and lyricist—a narrative film called “Iss Taraf,” which offers a glimpse into the quiet struggles and momentary victories of a trans man living in a cisnormative world, navigating the journey of acceptance in daily life.
