Say hello to Shiveka Singh, a budding teacher and a Pro-Teacher fellow. We asked her about her biggest aspiration when she started the program and how the fellowship has influenced her journey.

Here's her inspiring response:
"When I first joined this fellowship, my primary goal was to nurture critical thinking and ensure a curriculum that respects each learner's socio-cultural background, reducing dropout rates. I also aimed to be a professionally trained teacher, imparting knowledge effectively. However, after three months of being a member, I've acquired a range of valuable skills, including Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), Universal Design for Learning (UDL)-aligned lesson planning, and creating teaching materials tailored to diverse learners' needs. This experience has significantly enriched my ability to create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment."
