HISTORY
Green India Social Trust (GIST) have became a great landmark of Vadalur. It was not a sudden creation or a readymaded
team to work it out, but it is an energetic team which works harder to fullfil their motto "Plant tree, Breath free". It was a group of gym students whom were headed by Master John Felix Antony, he first initiated his idea of planting
more trees with the help of his gym students and friends and successfully did many minor projects.Now Mr.R.Mannohar,
Indian bank Vadalur Branch Manager,he has a fine interest towards social service and does to poor needies as much as
he can as a person.Then, Master Felix had a good means with Mr.Manohar through Kavinesh RM s/o R Manohar who was also one
of a good friend of Master Felix. Mr.R.Manohar joined hands with Master Felix. To continue his welfare Mr.R.Manohar
organised an Official trust named as "Green India Social Trust - GIST" with the help of Mr.Syed Abhudhahir,a friend of
Mr.Manohar and also his son Master Rahman Shareif, a hard working trustee. OBJECTIVES
> It is really simple to plant a tree, but the maintanance matters a lot. So, this trust not only deals with
planting a tree but also to maintain till it attains its matured stage.If and only if the tree become mature,
the trust moves towards its next project.
> The team planted tree will not only deal with the benefits of the people but also in the view of dwelling of birds
and animals.
> To establish,run,support and grant aid or other financial assistance to schools,orphanages,old care centers also
the team works for the advancement and developement of education and diffusion of knowledge amongst the public
in general.
> To help poor students,to conduct yourh entrepreneurship programs and life skill training and to undertake
appropriate activities to promote environment protection and health awarness.
> To do anything legal to acheive the main objectives of the trust. PRESENTLY RUNNING SCHEMES

3) Karmavirar Kamarajar scheme.
