CEV IEEE Student Branch was established in year 2011 by having the IEEE SB code 09501. From the time of establishment the name was CITV SB and onwards the Student Branch has been actively organizing and participating events all around the Kerala Section. IEEE Student Branch have members from all the departments (CSE, IT, ECE, EI, EEE, CE). IEEE is the world's largest professional association dedic
ated to advancing technological innovation and excellence for the benefit of humanity. It was formed in 1963 from the amalgamation of the American Institute of Electrical Engineers and the Institute of Radio Engineers. Today, IEEE has more than 430,000 members and Student Branches more than 7000 colleges and universities all around the world. Its objectives are the educational and technical advancement of electrical and electronic engineering, telecommunications, and computer engineering and allied disciplines. IEEE and its members inspire a global community through IEEE's highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities. Works of CEV IEEE SB never stops here; we took initiative steps to create Affinity Groups like Women in Engineering that motivates girl students and also IEEE Computer & power and Energy societies on specialized stream which also helps to achieve better career.
