On 9 November, the Samadhi Day of Swami Vishnudevananda, 200 sadhus will sit together at Sivananda Kutir.

They own almost nothing. They walk, they sing, they wait. And they trust that what is needed will come.

From 1 to 7 November, we will hear the Srimad Bhagavatam on the banks of the Ganga. On 9 November, in loving remembrance of Swamiji, we will serve a bhandara to sadhus, priests and the local community, and offer each sadhu a kit for the cold months ahead.

The bhandara is the heart of this seva, and it is made possible by offerings from people like you. You may contribute towards one or more of the expense categories shown on the slides.

We are blessed to announce a 7-day sacred recitation and discourse on the Shrimad Bhagavatam, from 1st to 7th November 2026, followed by a Maha Bhandara on 8th & 9th November — an offering of prasad and annadanam to all who join us.

This Saptaha is an invitation to sit with the stories of the divine, to let the katha soften what needs softening, and to remember why we walk this path in the first place.
