Shwwas Swastik Handicraf women welfare Association Samiti (Further named as SHWWAS) is a NGO Registered wit SHWWAS works for women empowerment. Preeti Sathe and Mrs.

Level of action is Regional, National and International. The main functionaries Mrs. Vaishali Sathe started SHWWAS as an NGO after a decade experience of working for deprived and Underprivileged women on a small scale. The principle areas of working are- Education, Vocational Training & Skill Development, providing market for handicraft items made by the self help groups, to cater them with orders

, organizing exhibition, to create opportunities for rural women for better living, to create awareness amongst the women regarding various benefitial schemes run by the government, to rmove the evils prevalent in the society and to organize programs against drug additions, child marriage, dowery etc.
