UCCI, in association with the Labour Department, Govt. of Rajasthan, organised an informative Awareness Session on “Labour Cess” on 25 Aug 2026 at UCCI.

The session was attended by industry representatives, UCCI members, builders, contractors, developers and other business stakeholders. Assistant Labour Commissioner Shri Mahendra Singh Rathore, Chief Guest, provided detailed guidance on the applicability, calculation and payment of Labour Cess, statutory provisions, due dates, online compliance, penalties and recent amendments.

UCCI President Shri Sandeep Bapna highlighted UCCI’s efforts towards labour law awareness, while Senior Vice President Shri Anshul Mogra shared valuable insights on compliance and industry interests. An interactive Q&A session addressed participants’ queries on Labour Cess and labour laws.

The programme was conducted by Hony. Secretary General Shri Ashish Chhabra, with a large number of members and industry representatives in attendance.
