It is been a long time for the next update from us. ALFA hopes that everyone had a great time during the Holi festival, the festival of colours and festival of love. The organization had a great time during the festival. The village youth from different youth resource centers and local volunteers came together at one platform to share love with each other without any kind of discrimination on the basis of s*x, caste and religion. This is one of the achievements of organization to create such spaces where everyone can gather together and learn from each other and experience cultural exchanges.
In the field of Education, ALFA is conducting the baseline survey through family and school visits to collect the data of young female students who are dropouts from the school and universities/colleges. ALFA after the survey will mainstream dropout students with government schools during the month of May. The ultimate objective of the project to ensure 100% enrollment with quality education.
In the area of women empowerment, ALFA is going to work on Sexual Reproductive Health Rights with young female members of the community who belongs to the backward and marginalized section of the society (particularly Muslims and Dalit community).
The organization recently conducted a training and workshop with staff members of ALFA and local youth volunteers on capacity building and self and identity respectively. This helped the organization to see their strength and weakness areas and how they can be more efficient and productive with maximum utilization of the available resources.
