The Individual Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) was successfully conducted at Brilliant Stars School (BSS) on 23rd and 24th May 2026. The primary objective of the meeting was to provide parents with detailed feedback regarding their child’s academic performance, strengths, areas requiring improvement, and overall development.

Teachers interacted individually with parents and discussed students’ subject-wise progress, classroom participation, behaviour, attendance, and learning outcomes. Constructive suggestions and guidance were provided to help students achieve their full potential. Parents actively participated in the discussions and shared valuable feedback and concerns, which were carefully addressed by the teachers.

The PTM served as an effective platform for strengthening the partnership between parents and the school, ensuring a collaborative approach towards the holistic development of the students.

The school sincerely appreciates the enthusiastic participation and cooperation of all parents, teachers, and staff members, which contributed to the smooth and successful conduct of the event.

Pre-Celebration of Rabindranath Tagore Janma Jayanti at BSS

Brilliant Stars School, Udaipur Gomati, Tripura, reverentially observed the Pre-Celebration of Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti on 8th May with great enthusiasm, cultural splendour, and heartfelt devotion to serve as a fitting tribute to the timeless literary luminary whose philosophy, creativity, and humanitarian ideals continue to inspire generations.

Prior to the formal commencement of the programme, students were shown the documentary “Kabi Jiban”, highlighting the life and contributions of Rabindranath Tagore. The programme began with a soulful prayer by the School Choir, followed by a melodious opening song presented by the students. The respected Principal, Mr. Sibu Das, and Director of Administration delivered inspiring speeches on Tagore’s timeless legacy and the importance of preserving cultural and humanistic values through education as well as Tagore’s literary brilliance, philosophical depth, and enduring cultural influence.

The cultural segment featured delightful group dances and group songs by the students of different grades, an elegant recitation by esteemed educator Mrs. Snigdha Shil, and followed by a captivating solo performance by Miss Aheli Mukherjee reflecting the lyrical beauty of Tagore’s literary works. These performances added charm and emotional richness to the celebration.

The event concluded with an engaging Quiz Competition on the life and works of Rabindranath Tagore for students of Grades V to X, where participants displayed commendable knowledge, confidence, and enthusiasm. The occasion stood as a radiant homage to the immortal spirit and enduring legacy of Rabindranath Tagore.

Brilliant Stars School takes immense pleasure in announcing the outstanding performance of its students in the CBSE Class X Board Examination 2025–26. The results this year stand as a testament to the institution’s unwavering commitment to academic excellence.
Out of 29 students, 16 students have scored
>90% out of which 6 scored >95%. The performance of the remaining students also deserves our heart-felt gratitude.
These exceptional results reflect the perseverance, dedication, and hard work of the students, steadfastly supported by the constant guidance of their teachers and the unwavering encouragement of their parents.

Welcoming Pre-Primary Students on the First Day of the Session 2026-27

Unlike every year, this year also Brilliant Stars School warmly welcomed the pre-primary students on the first day of the new academic session with great enthusiasm and joy.

Classes were beautifully decorated with colorful balloons, welcome boards, toys and attractive charts to create a cheerful and friendly atmosphere for the young learners.

The teachers greeted the children with smiles and ensured that they felt safe and comfortable in their new environment. Special efforts were made to ease the anxiety of first-time school-goers through fun activities, interactive games, and music that helped the children engage happily. The day captured candid moments of children smiling and exploring.

Parents were also guided and reassured about the school environment and daily routine. The staff extended their full support to make the transition smooth for both students and parents.

Overall, the first day was a delightful and memorable experience. The happy faces of the children reflected a successful beginning of their learning journey. The school looks forward to experiencing the growth for all the little learners.

Pre-Primary Orientation Day at BSS

An Orientation was conducted successfully at BSS to warmly welcome the new students and their parents at the beginning of the academic session. The programme began with a warm address by the school authorities, highlighting the vision, teaching methods, and facilities of the institution. Parents were introduced to the curriculum and guidelines to ensure a smooth transition for their children into school life.

Teachers interacted with both parents and students, helping the children feel comfortable in their new environment. Their queries were addressed patiently, building trust and confidence in the school system.

Overall, the Orientation program was successful as it laid a strong foundation for a positive partnership between parents and the school, ensuring a happy and enriching learning journey for the little learners.

Foundation Day Celebration

Brilliant Stars School proudly celebrated its 19th Foundation Day on 8th February 2026 at the school campus with great enthusiasm and a sense of achievement. The occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Dr. Uttam Mitra, Chairman of Brilliant Stars Society, who attended the programme as the Chief Guest. The celebration marked nearly two decades of the school’s dedication to academic excellence, values, and holistic development of students.

The programme began with remembering the Divine followed by a warm welcome of the guests and watering plant, symbolising knowledge and enlightenment. The respected Principal and the Chief guest addressed the gathering, recalling the journey of the school—from its roots to its present stature—emphasizing the role of teachers, parents, and students in this collective success and highlighting its steady growth, achievements, and values over the years. Both the speeches inspired students to honour the school’s legacy while striving for a brighter future.

Students from different classes showcased their talents through a variety of cultural performances, including melodious songs, graceful dances, tabla fusion etc. Each performance beautifully depicted the theme ‘Our Culture,Our Pride’. Students expressed their gratitude through heartfelt performances and words. The vibrant decorations and enthusiastic participation added charm to the celebration.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing appreciation to the management, guests, guests, Principal, teachers, students, and staff for making the Foundation Day celebration a memorable and successful event. Farewell Programme Celebration at BSS

Brilliant Stars School organized a heartfelt Farewell Programme for the Class X and Class XII board candidates with great warmth and affection on the school campus on 6th February 2026. The event was arranged to bid adieu to the outgoing students and to wish them success in their upcoming board examinations and future endeavours.

The programme began with remembering the Almighty, setting a pleasant and serene tone for the day. The principal Mr. Vinod Kumar addressed the students with encouraging words, sharing memories, valuable advice, and best wishes for their academic and personal journeys ahead. His words motivated the students to face the board examinations with confidence and determination.

Students from the junior classes presented a variety of cultural performances, including songs, dances, and engaging activities, making the occasion lively and memorable. They felicitated the board candidates with a framed photograph and a thoughtfully prepared video capturing cherished school memories. The farewell was filled with moments of laughter, nostalgia, and gratitude as the outgoing students shared their experiences and expressed heartfelt appreciation to their teachers and the school for years of guidance and support.

Special segments were also organized in which a few board candidates presented songs and dances and shared their memorable moments with everyone, making the event more personal and meaningful. The school campus resonated with emotions as students reminisced about their school days, friendships, and treasured memories.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing sincere appreciation to the management, Principal, teachers, and students for organizing a meaningful farewell. Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) State Level Camp Examination

The National Level Science Camp Examination (Level III) was conducted on February 1, 2026, in collaboration with NCERT and NCSM. Our school hosted the State-Level Camp Examination for the North East Region (Meghalaya, Mizoram, and Tripura). We thank Mr. Ayan Saha, Officer-In-Charge, Science Centre, Udaipur, and State Coordinator for VVM, for selecting our school to conduct the exam.

117 students participated, including 10 from Brilliant Stars School. The top 3 students from each class were awarded certificates, mementos, and cash prizes:
1st prize: Rs. 5,000/-
2nd prize: Rs. 3,000/-
3rd prize: Rs. 2,000/-

Bidipta Debnath (Class 9, 2nd position) will represent in the upcoming National Camp in Pune or Bengaluru.
