BAKDIL, under the Mobius Young Climate Leaders Program (MYCL), successfully distributed fruit saplings -varieties of Mango and Litchi to 16 partner schools as part of its ongoing efforts to promote environmental awareness and sustainable practices among students.

The program, funded by the Mobius Foundation, New Delhi, aims to nurture young climate leaders by educating students on pressing environmental issues and encouraging active participation in climate action. Through this initiative, students are being empowered with knowledge and practical skills related to environmental conservation, waste management, biodiversity protection, and sustainable living.

In addition to awareness sessions, the participating schools are implementing various waste management activities, including waste segregation, composting, and school greening initiatives. The distribution of fruit saplings will not only contribute to increasing green cover but also help students understand the importance of tree plantation, ecological balance, and long-term environmental sustainability.
