Dies ist ein Rinjodi-Tanz der Jugend des Paroja-Stammes in Odisha, in der Nähe eines alten Tempels des Gottes Jagannath.
Unverheiratete junge Männer leben in Männerwohnheimen im Dorf. Junge Frauen gehen in Mädchenwohnheime. Dort lernen und arbeiten sie tagsüber. Abends bis spät in die Nacht tanzen die Mädchen vor ihrem Göttinnentempel am Fluss, und die Jungen spielen Musik, um den richtigen Mann oder die richtige Frau füreinander zu finden.

Bei Vollmond im September und Oktober ziehen sie durch das Dorf und stehlen Obst, Gemüse und Getreide. Abends präsentieren sie alles der Göttin und tanzen dort die ganze Nacht. Am nächsten Morgen kochen sie ein Festmahl für die Göttin, zu dem das ganze Dorf eingeladen ist.

Was für ein verspieltes, reiches, schönes, reifes und göttliches Leben diese Menschen führen! So einfach und hochentwickelt als Menschen..... 🙏🪷
