Srinagar, June 24, 2025: The Nishkam Sewa Charitable Trust has expressed deep anguish over the mysterious death of Surjeet Singh, son of Late Foja Singh, a resident of Dharamgund, Tral. Terming the incident as tragic and alarming, the Trust has strongly demanded a high-level, fair, and time-bound enquiry to uncover the truth behind the unfortunate death.

In a joint statement, the members of the Trust urged the Jammu & Kashmir Union Territory (JKUT) administration to initiate an impartial investigation without delay, stressing that justice must prevail to restore the shaken faith of the community.

“The mysterious circumstances surrounding Surjeet Singh Ji’s death have caused immense pain and anxiety within the Sikh community,” the members said. “Such incidents create a sense of fear and insecurity among the micro Sikh community of Kashmir.

Nishkam Sewa Charitable Trust Serves Chabeel at Gurudwara Guru Nanak Boarding House, Tral on Khalsa Sajna Divas

Srinagar , April 15 – Members of the Nishkam Sewa Charitable Trust enthusiastically participated in Chabeel Sewa at Gurudwara Guru Nanak Boarding House, Tral, as part of the Khalsa Sajna Divas celebrations. Thousands of devotees from across the valley gathered to commemorate this auspicious occasion.

The trust had set up a dedicated stall at the Gurudwara premises a day prior, where members actively engaged with the Sangat. Many devotees showed immense interest in joining the trust’s noble initiatives, with numerous new members filling out auto-debit forms to contribute regularly to community service. The trust extends a heartfelt welcome to all new members and volunteers who have stepped forward to selflessly serve humanity.
