Every morning, 83 elders gather at the Rural People’s Sangam Eldercare & Resource Center in Nadu Mangalam, Tiruvannamalai — not just for tea and meals, but for companionship, dignity and hope. ❤️

For many elderly individuals in rural communities, this center is a safe space to read newspapers, connect with others, receive nutritious food and access monthly health check-ups.

Since 1991, Rural People’s Sangam has been working to uplift marginalized communities in rural Tamil Nadu. Today, we invite compassionate individuals, organizations and changemakers to join us in supporting our elders.
