🐕🌺 Aadi Amavasai Dog Feeding – Tiruvannamalai 🌺🐕

On the sacred occasion of Aadi Amavasai, we offered specially cooked food to the dogs in holy Tiruvannamalai. 🙏

Feeding hungry animals is a beautiful act of Jeeva Karunya Seva—an expression of compassion and love towards all living beings. In our spiritual tradition, feeding dogs is also associated with seeking the blessings of Lord Bhairava and is believed to help cultivate protection, gratitude, compassion and positive spiritual energy.

We offered vegetable biryani, water bottles, and 108 vestis to sadhus as an offering of love, gratitude and seva.

In our spiritual tradition, feeding and caring for cows is considered a sacred act of Seva, associated with compassion, gratitude and the blessings of the Divine. On Amavasai, such acts of charity are especially cherished as a way of remembering and offering prayers for our ancestors.
