A Call for Permanent Rehabilitation of Flood-Affected Families
Every year, thousands of families in Assam are forced to leave their homes due to devastating floods. Temporary relief is not enough. It is time for a permanent solution.
The North East Human Rights Organization (NEHRO) respectfully appeals to the Hon'ble Prime Minister of India and the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Assam to establish a comprehensive policy for the permanent rehabilitation of flood-affected families by utilizing suitable vacant government land.
Every citizen deserves a safe home, security, and dignity. A permanent resettlement program with housing, clean drinking water, healthcare, education, electricity, sanitation, and livelihood opportunities will protect vulnerable families from repeated displacement and ensure a better future.
Flood relief should not remain a yearly response—it must become a permanent solution.

Subject: Appeal to the Hon'ble President of India for Immediate Intervention to Ensure the Safety and Well-being of Mr. Sanam Wangchuk on Indefinite Hunger Strike
The North East Human Rights Organization (NEHRO) respectfully appeals to the Hon'ble President of India to kindly intervene in the matter concerning Mr. Sanam Wangchuk, who is currently on an indefinite hunger strike in support of his demands.
NEHRO expresses deep concern over the deteriorating health and well-being of Mr. Wangchuk as a result of his prolonged hunger strike. Every citizen of India has the constitutional right to express their views through peaceful and democratic means. At the same time, it is the responsibility of the authorities to safeguard the life, health, and dignity of every individual.
NEHRO respectfully urges:
The Hon'ble President of India to take humanitarian cognizance of this matter and direct the concerned authorities to ensure Mr. Sanam Wangchuk's safety and well-being.
The Central and State Governments to arrange regular medical examinations and provide all necessary healthcare facilities.
The concerned authorities to ensure his personal safety and prevent any unfortunate incident.
The Government to initiate constructive dialogue with Mr. Wangchuk and the concerned stakeholders to resolve the matter peacefully and in accordance with the Constitution.
All authorities to uphold the principles of human rights, justice, and democratic values while addressing the issue.
NEHRO sincerely hopes that the Government will act promptly and compassionately to protect Mr. Sanam Wangchuk life and health and work towards a peaceful and lawful resolution of the matter.

मणिपुर में शांति, न्याय एवं मानवाधिकारों की रक्षा सुनिश्चित करने की अपील
नॉर्थ ईस्ट ह्यूमन राइट्स ऑर्गेनाइजेशन (NEHRO) मणिपुर के कांगपोकपी जिले एवं आसपास के क्षेत्रों में हाल ही में हुई हिंसक घटनाओं और बढ़ते तनाव पर गहरी चिंता व्यक्त करता है। निर्दोष नागरिकों की मृत्यु तथा मानवाधिकारों के उल्लंघन के आरोप अत्यंत गंभीर विषय हैं, जिन पर सरकार द्वारा तत्काल, निष्पक्ष एवं प्रभावी कार्रवाई की जानी चाहिए।
संगठन भारत सरकार एवं मणिपुर सरकार से आग्रह करता है कि सभी घटनाओं की स्वतंत्र, निष्पक्ष एवं पारदर्शी जांच कराई जाए तथा दोषी पाए जाने वाले व्यक्तियों के विरुद्ध कानून के अनुसार कड़ी कार्रवाई सुनिश्चित की जाए। किसी भी निर्दोष नागरिक के साथ अन्याय न हो और प्रत्येक पीड़ित परिवार को न्याय, सुरक्षा एवं आवश्यक राहत उपलब्ध कराई जाए।
नॉर्थ ईस्ट ह्यूमन राइट्स ऑर्गेनाइजेशन (NEHRO) यह भी मांग करता है कि क्षेत्र में सभी समुदायों के बीच विश्वास बहाली एवं स्थायी शांति स्थापित करने के लिए सार्थक संवाद शुरू किया जाए। सरकार यह सुनिश्चित करे कि किसी भी नागरिक के साथ उसकी जातीय, धार्मिक या सामाजिक पहचान के आधार पर भेदभाव न हो तथा सभी के मानवाधिकारों की समान रूप से रक्षा की जाए।
संगठन का दृढ़ विश्वास है कि न्याय, जवाबदेही, संवैधानिक मूल्यों और मानवाधिकारों के सम्मान के माध्यम से ही मणिपुर में स्थायी शांति स्थापित की जा सकती है। हम सभी पक्षों से संयम बनाए रखने, हिंसा का त्याग करने तथा लोकतांत्रिक और संवैधानिक तरीकों से समाधान निकालने की अपील करते हैं।

Appeal for Peace, Justice and Protection of Human Rights in Manipur
The North East Human Rights Organization (NEHRO) expresses deep concern over the recent incidents of violence and escalating tensions in Kangpokpi district, Manipur. The loss of innocent lives and allegations of human rights violations demand immediate attention and impartial action by the concerned authorities.
NEHRO urges the Government of India and the Government of Manipur to ensure a fair, independent and transparent investigation into all reported incidents. Any individual found responsible for unlawful acts or violations of human rights must be held accountable in accordance with the law.
The Organization further appeals to both the Central and State Governments to ensure the safety and security of all civilians without discrimination, provide adequate relief and assistance to the affected families, and initiate meaningful dialogue among all communities to restore lasting peace and harmony.
NEHRO firmly believes that sustainable peace can only be achieved through justice, accountability, respect for human rights, and equal protection under the Constitution. We call upon all stakeholders to exercise restraint, reject violence, and work collectively towards reconciliation and lasting peace.

अखिल असम भोजपुरी छात्र संस्था एवं डाइट सोशल फाउंडेशन के सहयोग से आज तिनसुकिया में 40 छात्र- छात्राओं को सरकारी नौकरी की तैयारी के लिए निःशुल्क कोचिंग क्लास का आज उद्घाटन किया गया। इस अवसर पर अखिल असम भोजपुरी छात्र संस्था के केंद्रीय सभापति अवधेश रस्तोगी, केंद्रीय साधारण संपादक सरोज प्रसाद, समाजसेवी एवं अधिवक्ता बुद्धिनाथ प्रजापति, हिंदू युवा छात्र परिषद तिनसुकिया जिला समिति के सभापति दिलीप शर्मा, नॉर्थईस्ट मानवाधिकार कमीशन, असम प्रदेश के उपाध्यक्ष संजू कुंवर एवं संवाददाता एवं असम वॉयस 24X7 के मैनेजिंग डायरेक्टर मनोज कलवार, डाइट सोशल फाउंडेशन के समीर कुमार, सागर प्रसाद, शीतल शाह उपस्थित थे। इस योजना के तहत 40 विद्यार्थियों को निःशुल्क प्रशिक्षण दिया जाना है, जिसमें उन्हें पुस्तकें और क्लास दी जाएगी।
इस कार्यक्रम का मुख्य उद्देश्य सरकारी नौकरी के तैयारी करने वाले छात्रों को तैयार करना है, इसके लिए शिक्षकों का दल प्रत्येक विषयों की तैयारी कराएगी। साथ ही विद्यार्थियों के लिए ऑनलाइन मॉक टेस्ट की भी व्यवस्था की जा रही है।
दोनों संगठनों ने संयुक्त रूप से जानकारी दी कि 30 दिनों तक यह कोचिंग चलेगी जिसमें विद्यार्थियों को मुख्य रूप से केंद्रीय पुलिस बल के लिए तैयार किया जाएगा। इसके लिए दोनों पक्षों द्वारा एक समझौता पत्र भी हस्तांतरित हुआ।,
