We are incredibly proud of Mana Mandlekar, our Woman Exemplar, who has won a Bronze Medal for India at the 15th Silent Night International Karate Cup 2026 in Malaysia.

A 2019 cohort member, Mana overcame financial barriers to continue her education, often travelling long distances to study. In college, she discovered Karate, which became a turning point, building her confidence and discipline. She now trains young girls, enabling them to find their voice and shape their futures.

Today, as she stands on an international podium, Mana reflects on what this moment truly means:

For the small town of Timarni in Madhya Pradesh, 19 April became a historic day. 𝗥𝗶𝘁𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗧𝗶𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗶 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗘𝗗𝘅 𝗛𝘆𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗮𝗱 — a platform where ideas that change the world are shared.

More than 2,000 people from across India and around the world attended the live event. Ritesh Tiwari shared his inspiring journey and the mission of Tinka Samajik Sanstha, which has transformed the lives of thousands of girls in rural India despite limited resources.

He explained how karate and self-defense are not just sports, but a voice for girls whose stories were never heard. Replacing fear with confidence, silence with courage — that is the change created by Tinka Samajik Sanstha.

Thank you so much for supporting us for this great Program CII Foundation enargy

Under the Empowering Champions of Change (ECC) Programme, led by CII Foundation and supported by Apraava Energy, launched in August 2025, a 2.5-day training program was organised in Indore Madhya Pradesh.

In collaboration with CII Foundation Woman Exemplar Mana Mandlekar, the training brought together 15 women leaders from 10 districts of the state and focused on key themes such as safety mapping, violence against women and digital & financial literacy, with sessions led by domain experts. Representatives from Apraava Energy also attended the training, interacting with participants and supporting the initiative.

Following the training, participants will undertake community-led initiatives in their villages focused on digital and financial inclusion.

Tinka Launches Summer Sports Camp with a Goal to Train 2,000 Players 🏃‍♂️🥋

As part of the Summer Sports Training Camp 2026, Tinka Social Organization conducted an important meeting of trainers on 29 March in Timarni to ensure the smooth and effective implementation of the program. Trainers from various sports disciplines participated and discussed the roadmap for the upcoming three-month training initiative.

The camp, scheduled from 15 March to 15 June 2026, aims to establish training centers across 20 districts and provide structured sports training to nearly 2,000 young players, while also engaging 100 trainers in this large-scale initiative.

During the meeting, sports equipment such as karate mats, punching bags, sports kits, and kit bags were distributed to trainers. Equipment for players, including carrom, chess, football, volleyball, and basketball, was also provided to strengthen the training infrastructure at the grassroots level.

This summer camp has been designed with a special focus on empowering children—particularly girls—through sports by building confidence, discipline, and personal safety awareness. All participating players will receive training, T-shirts, and certificates, while trainers will be provided with tracksuits, T-shirts, shoes, and caps.

The successful implementation of this initiative is being supported by SRF Foundation, Delhi, and Fino Payments Bank, Mumbai.

We strongly believe that sports is not just about competition—it is a powerful tool for social change and youth empowerment.
