The Association has installed a uniform house number plate for all villas. It not only enhances the look but also makes it easier for delivery personnel to locate the houses.

✨ Streetlight Update @ Onyx Villas ✨

We are happy to share that the long-pending issue of non-functional streetlights has finally been resolved ✅.

🔹 The defective streetlights have been replaced.
🔹 A new pole with a streetlight has also been installed opposite the clubhouse, ensuring the previously dark patch is now well-lit.

This improvement comes after multiple requests to the builder went unheard. Association has stepped in and completed the work to ensure safety and convenience for all residents.

💡 Together, we are making Onyx Villas brighter and safer!

As decided at our 3rd AGM, we’ve completed the cleanup and tiling along the clubhouse route—from the entry, past the well/filter, all the way to the incinerator. Before photos show how inaccessible (and unsafe) this stretch used to be. Ahead of the work, we finished key plumbing fixes, including a sump with a manhole cover for filter flush water. Interlocking tiles are now in place, making the area clean, safe, and easy to access.

This is a big milestone—the first civil project taken up by the association. Thank you for the amazing support; it fuels us to do even more for the community. More updates coming soon! 🙏

Onyx Residents Left to Struggle – Association Steps In

Even after multiple intimations and escalations, Mount Huge has failed to take any action to resolve the severe water scarcity. With no response and no solution in sight, the association had to step in.

To ensure residents have access to water, a water tanker was arranged to fill the overhead tank. This is not a long-term fix, but a necessary step to address the immediate crisis.

There is always light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks to the tremendous efforts of the association, along with the support of government authorities and KSEB, every resident has now received their individual electricity connection. Instead of facilitating the process, Mount Huge attempted to delay and obstruct it.

Congratulations to all!

New Series on google map reviews done by genuine villa owners
Post9: From villa #23

Bought this property 5 years back looking at the enthusiasm of a young guy startup, but still the project is not yet handed over. I am not able to use any of the amenities promised & I was expecting a peaceful atmosphere for my parents who was getting setled from Mumbai. But all failed & day by day problems are geting worst rather than reaching to a conclusion.

I had high hopes when I invested in this villa project, enchanted by the builder’s sweet talk and golden promises. Unfortunately, the reality has been nothing short of a nightmare.
1. Lack of Security: There is no security system in place. Stray dogs roam freely in the premises, posing a safety concern for residents, especially children and elders.

2.Incomplete Amenities: The promised amenities have not been handed over. The swimming pool, which was supposed to be a highlight of the project, is filled with dirty water and is completely unusable.

3. No Basic Infrastructure: The streets have no lights, making it unsafe to walk around after sunset. There’s no proper waste disposal system, leaving the community in an unhygienic state.

4. Locked Clubhouse: The clubhouse remains locked, with no access to residents despite being heavily marketed as a key feature of the project. 5.Common Areas Neglected: Common areas are left in darkness due to the lack of proper lighting, further adding to the residents’ discomfort.

To make matters worse, the builder, who was extremely polite and promising at the time of purchase, has turned hostile. They refuse to address concerns and resort to sending nasty emails when residents try to raise issues. It’s become evident that most of the commitments made during the purchase process were fraudulent.I strongly urge potential buyers to take an informed decision when dealing with this builder. It has been a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience, and I wouldn’t want anyone else to go through the same hardship

Post6: From villa #21

I purchased one of the first villas here in 2018. Initially, Mount Huge appeared to be a promising startup with a lot of energy, which influenced my decision to invest. However, as construction progressed, I noticed signs of unprofessionalism and inexperience.

During construction, an error led to my villa being built with a larger plinth area than specified in the agreement. I was then asked to pay for the additional square footage, which I had not requested. When I declined, construction was halted until the payment was made, raising concerns about their work ethics and professionalism. To clarify, I did not request this modification, as customizations are not offered for single-plot villas.

This mistake had long-term consequences, as the additional square footage reduced the setback from the boundary wall, preventing me from obtaining a house number. Even after all these years, I still do not have a house number or a permanent electricity connection.

Due to these issues, I filed a case in consumer court and obtained an interim order of injunction on five plots. As a result, I was denied a permanent electricity connection, which everyone else in the community got recently.

I don’t want to touch up on the issues that other owners have put in their reviews. Moreover, the fact that all genuine owners here have faced issues speaks for itself about the state we are in.
