🌟 ESAF Silver Circle Club: Celebrating Life Beyond 60! 💙

Age is not a limitation—it is a beautiful chapter filled with wisdom, experience, friendship and new possibilities.

The ESAF Silver Circle Club, an initiative of ESAF Foundation, is expanding its reach to support more people aged 60 and above. The Club offers senior citizens a warm and welcoming space to build meaningful friendships, share life experiences and celebrate the joy of togetherness.

🎭 Creating opportunities for recreation, interaction and shared experiences

As ESAF Foundation expands this initiative by forming more ESAF Silver Circle Clubs, more senior citizens and communities will have opportunities to participate in engaging activities, access supportive networks and experience the benefits of active and dignified ageing.

At ESAF, we believe growing older should never mean growing isolated. Every senior citizen deserves companionship, respect, happiness and a meaningful place in the community.

ESAF Krushakmithra – Promoting Agri Entrepreneurship

Agri entrepreneurship is the need of the hour for rural India. ESAF Krushakmithra, an agri entrepreneurship development programme of ESAF Foundation, is supported by ESAF Small Finance Bank to nurture agri entrepreneurs and strengthen Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs).

Through its Bharat Centre of Excellence for Collective Enterprises (BCECE), ESAF Foundation, in association with the National Institute of Agricultural Marketing (NIAM), organised the first batch of a 15-day residential training programme on Integrated Nutrient Management at Vanavarayar Institute of Agriculture, Pollachi, Tamil Nadu.

A total of 15 candidates from Tamil Nadu FPCs successfully completed the training, gaining knowledge and skills to promote sustainable agricultural practices and explore entrepreneurial opportunities in the agriculture sector.

ESAF Pashumithra – Promoting Dairy Entrepreneurship

Dairy entrepreneurship is a powerful pathway to sustainable livelihoods and rural economic growth. ESAF Pashumithra, an initiative of ESAF Foundation, supported by ESAF Small Finance Bank, aims to develop skilled dairy entrepreneurs and strengthen the dairy sector through Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs).

A new batch of 10 ESAF Pashumithras, nominated by FPCs from the ESAF Bharat Centre of Excellence for Collective Enterprises (BCECE) network, has successfully completed 45 days of classroom training at NDDB, Erode, and is now proceeding to the next phase of 75 days of field training.

The programme equips rural youth with the knowledge, practical skills and entrepreneurial capabilities required to build sustainable dairy-based enterprises and strengthen farmer collectives.

Empowering Collectives. Building Enterprises. Transforming Lives.

ESAF Bharat Centre of Excellence for Collective Enterprises (BCECE) is an initiative of ESAF Foundation, supported by ESAF Small Finance Bank, to build a national platform that brings all forms of collective enterprises under one umbrella. BCECE aims to strengthen collective-led economic growth across India by promoting collaboration, institutional development, and sustainable enterprise growth.
With support from the Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA), ESAF Foundation has developed a strategy and roadmap to guide BCECE’s growth as a national platform and Centre of Excellence for collective enterprises.
BCECE works through four strategic pillars:
🔹 Capacity Building & Networking – Strengthening governance, professional management, and collaboration among collectives.
🔹 Credit & Market Linkages – Facilitating access to finance, business opportunities, and sustainable markets.
🔹 Research & Knowledge Management – Promoting research, innovation, best practices, and knowledge sharing.
🔹 Policy Advocacy – Enabling a supportive policy environment for collective enterprises.
BCECE has established state-level networks in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, and Jammu & Kashmir, bringing nearly 400 Farmer Producer Companies (FPCs) into its network. BCECE is expanding into additional states to connect more collectives and strengthen partnerships across the country.
Through this collaborative approach, BCECE aims to transform collectives into competitive, professionally managed, and sustainable enterprises, empowering farmers and rural communities through improved livelihoods, stronger market participation, and inclusive economic growth.

School Edible Garden Project – Jaihind International School

The Climate Action Cell, Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA), in collaboration with ESAF Foundation, launched the second School Edible Garden Project at Jaihind International School, Hongasandra, Bengaluru.

The official launch programme included a hands-on workshop for students and teachers on setting up and maintaining the edible garden. The garden will be managed and maintained by the school’s Climate Action Club , under (CAC), with continued support and guidance.

The project was inaugurated by Mr. Chandrashekhar M. R., Joint Director of Horticulture, GBA. The programme was attended by: Mr. Chennegowda - Senior Assistant Director of Horticulture,. Mr. Suraj S. K. – Climate Action Cell, GBA, Mr. Lakshmi Prasad – NCAP Coordinator. Mr. Subramani – Control Room Coordinator, GBA. Mr. Shanish V. N. – Project Officer, ESAF Foundation.Mr. Rajendra Hegde – Faculty, Garden City Farmers Group. Mr. Ganesh – School Principal
