ESAF Garshom: Support When It Matters Most

An accident can change everything, especially when you're far from home and away from your loved ones.

Meet Anwar Hussain, a migrant worker from West Bengal who came to Kerala in search of work. After suffering a fractured leg in a workplace accident, he found himself in need of immediate assistance.

The Prachodhan team supported him in accessing medical care and remained with him until he was safely assisted onto a train to return home to his family.

We are sharing Anwar's story to highlight why timely care and compassionate support are essential for migrant workers, the very purpose of the ESAF Garshom initiative.

A small room, a few books, and a group of eager children can create extraordinary change. The Balajyothi Study Centre at Bootechang Tea Estate, Udalguri, is more than an after-school learning space—it is a place where children read, learn, create, and grow together every day. Through Balajyothi, a CSR initiative of ESAF Bank implemented by Prachodhan, children from underserved communities are gaining opportunities to strengthen their education, build confidence, and discover their potential. Because every child deserves a space where learning inspires hope and dreams become possible.

Laughter echoed through the villages of Benageria, Jharkhand, as children came together for the ESAF Balajyothi Summer Camp—a day filled with learning, creativity, friendship, and fun.

Implemented by Prachodhan development services as a CSR initiative of ESAF Bank , Balajyothi continues to nurture young minds and build brighter futures.

Turning Ideas into Possibilities.

Creativity grows when children are given the freedom to imagine, explore, and create.

At the ESAF Balajyothi Summer Camp in Karatipar, Majuli Island, 220 children from 12 Balajyothi Clubs transformed simple waste materials into beautiful and useful creations through hands-on craft activities. Beyond making crafts, they learned the value of sustainability, teamwork, problem-solving, and innovation.

Implemented by Prachodhan Development Services as a CSR initiative of ESAF Bank Balajyothi continues to create joyful learning experiences that help children discover their talents and build confidence for the future.

Every creation begins with a curious mind. Every curious mind can change the world.

Where Childhood Blossoms into Leadership.

A summer filled with stories, creativity, laughter, and learning.

At the Balajyothi Summer Camp 2026, 218 children from Nonihat explored new ideas through storytelling, shop-making, seed bomb making, and creative activities that built confidence, teamwork, and environmental awareness.

Organised under the Balajyothi CSR Project of ESAF Bank , the camp reminds us that when children are given the opportunity to explore, they grow into confident, compassionate, and capable leaders.

Every child inspired today is a brighter tomorrow.
