Gandhi Jayanti Celebration – Activity Report 🌿

To commemorate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, GSEAI organized a special community activity on 2nd October 2025 dedicated to promoting the values of truth, non-violence, cleanliness, and social responsibility – the core principles Gandhiji stood for.

✨ Highlights of the Day:

Cleanliness & Swachhata Drive:
Volunteers, students, and community members came together to clean public spaces, parks, and nearby localities as part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The activity aimed to spread awareness about the importance of hygiene and collective responsibility in maintaining a clean environment.

Peace March & Awareness Walk:
A peaceful march was conducted holding placards with Gandhiji’s quotes and messages of unity, equality, and non-violence. The walk inspired participants to adopt these principles in their daily lives.

Interactive Sessions & Talks:
Eminent speakers, educators, and youth leaders shared insights on Gandhiji’s life, his role in India’s freedom struggle, and how his teachings remain relevant in today’s society.

Art & Essay Competitions:
Students participated in drawing, essay writing, and slogan competitions on themes like “Be the Change” and “Non-violence in Action”. The winners were felicitated with certificates and recognition.

Community Service Activities:
As part of the event, volunteers distributed eco-friendly cloth bags and planted saplings, reinforcing Gandhiji’s message of simplicity, sustainability, and care for nature.

In Loving Memory of Mr. Biju John 🙏

It is with deep sorrow that we share the tragic loss of Mr. Biju John, NSM at AU Small Finance Bank, Bangalore. A talented, courageous professional and a respected colleague, he left us too soon after facing unbearable humiliation and workplace harassment.

This heartbreaking incident is not just a personal tragedy—it is a wake-up call. Increasingly, many workplaces have become graveyards for good people, where politics, unchecked authority, public humiliation, and one-sided decisions take away dignity, respect, and hope.

💔 Behind every such loss is a silent battle. No employee should ever feel cornered, insulted, or humiliated to the point of despair.

As an organization and through GSEAI (Global Socio-Economic Association of Innovators), we strongly call for:

A thorough, transparent investigation into this incident.

Accountability for those responsible for workplace harassment and humiliation.

Stronger laws and enforcement against toxic workplace practices.

Mandatory counseling and grievance redressal systems in corporates to safeguard employees’ dignity and mental health.

👉 This is not just about one individual—it is about changing the culture of how organizations treat their people.
👉 We owe it to Biju and to countless others suffering in silence to demand change.

May his soul rest in peace. 🕊️
Let us work together to ensure “Dignity at Work” is not a privilege, but a right for every employee.
