About us: Deva Nursery and Primary School is located at Servaikaranmadam village in Tuticorin District Tamilnadu India . It was started in 6.6.2000 with a group of 16 students and 3 staff members. And, now nearly 110 students are studying. Among this 110, except a few, almost all the others are from an illiterate and below-poverty background. Still, the need for an English education has caused lit

eracy awareness. Yet the economic conditions of the society around us do not enable them to admit their children in such schools. In order to eradicate this huddle, Mr. Samuel BA HDC who established this school in 2000, spent all his time and money after retirement for this school. His extreme eloquence in English and talent in music developed this school. Unfortunately, he died in 2005 on June 25th. But by the Grace of God this institution is still growing on, with the help of the fees collected from the children. Presently we have setup a Charitable Trust in his name, B. Samuel Social Welfare Trust. Our desire and wish is not only to impart education through this trust, but also satisfy their basic needs.
