A super fun and eye-opening session with our green champs @ TIPS! 😄
They were genuinely shocked (and a little sad!) to learn what happens when we don’t segregate waste… but guess what — the moment they realized segregation is actually easy-peasy, their faces lit up!
The highlight? Turning an old T-shirt into a super cool utility bag — talk about style with a purpose! 👕✨
With lots of laughter, curious questions, and hands-on fun, the learning didn’t just stay in their minds… it truly stayed in their hearts. 💚

A happy Sunday morning spent with the energetic Grade 5 students of Indian Public School, Ambattur! ☀️ As always, it was the usual hussy-bussy-bessy with plenty of activities and excitement.
Interestingly, even as the beach was being neatly cleaned by the machines, within no time people around the eat-outs had already started tossing trash again… a reminder of how quickly our spaces can get messy when we aren’t mindful.
But our young champs stepped right in! 💪 The students quickly cleared the major plastic and carton waste lying around and learnt first-hand how wrong it is to litter. They understood the importance of binning every single piece of waste instead of leaving it behind.
They also wholeheartedly appreciated the hard work of our conservancy workers 👏 and promised that they would manage their waste responsibly to help keep our environment clean and happy. 🌍
And this is exactly what AWCEM Foundation is always striving for — nurturing mindful habit changes in waste management for a cleaner tomorrow.

A Remarkable Step Towards Sustainability! 🌱”

Proud to partner with the young innovators of The American International School Chennai in their STEAM learning journey, where students presented inspiring ideas aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals on environmental sustainability.
Through creative thinking, students transformed different forms of waste into useful products, helping reduce landfill loads and promote sustainable living.
AWCEM Foundation is happy to be part of this journey through workshops and awareness sessions, encouraging responsible thinking among young minds.
