Bhoo’26 – Festival of Earth Architecture
Bhoo’26 marks a significant milestone for the Urvi Foundation. It is the realization of a dream envisioned over a decade ago, brought to life through the unwavering determination of Team Urvi. This is a major chapter in our journey toward fulfilling a larger purpose to offer protection, care, and consciousness not just to humanity, but to the Earth itself, beyond the boundaries of conventional thinking.
In a world where many run endlessly without purpose, and where corporate mindsets seek to claim and consume everything in sight, we stand for something different. We are a collective striving to build a way of life rooted in peace, mindful living, and the spirit of sharing with others.
Our journey has been marked by defining milestones:
• First Milestone – The Kerala Floods of 2018
A time when the Earth itself protested. It was during this crisis that we strongly advocated for environmentally conscious practices and began shaping the foundations of the Stone-Free Movement.
• Second Milestone – The Pandemic of 2022
A period that redefined human existence. We initiated the Down to Earth Village, a prototype for less urbanize, create smart village campaign.
Today, the fear of global conflict casts a shadow across continents. The reality is becoming increasingly clear, self-reliance is no longer a choice, but a necessity. Systems are collapsing; dependence is becoming uncertain. Energy blockades, inflation, and unemployment are growing concerns. In such times, the only sustainable solution is to build self-sufficient communities.
It is in this context that the first edition of the Annual Earth Architecture Festival was held at the Down to Earth Village.
The event, conducted on March 28th and 29th, brought together some of the finest minds in the field architects and professionals from more than ten states, globally respected legends whose voices the world listens to, and the vibrant young generation of students who represent the future.
A historic highlight of Bhoo’26 was India’s first 3D printed construction using earth.
What makes this achievement even more remarkable is that an entire village came together with unity, dedication, and collective effort to make this event a success. That spirit of community is what Bhoo’26 will always stand for.
We remain deeply grateful to everyone who prayed for this, worked for this, and stood with us in making this vision a reality.
