It significantly expanded its activities from those in Rural Water Supply, Sanitation, Women in Development, Capacity Building, Geographical Information System based Resource Mapping, Software Development to Planning/Estimatio

n of Community Managed Water Supply Schemes, Research, Consultancies etc.  It is an accredited agency of Government of Kerala in the field of water and environmental sanitation. From the programme implementation experience gained over more than two decades, SEUF has  diversified its activities to the consultancy and GIS support across the country, with specific focus on South India, in its core competency areas of water, environmental sanitation, decentralized solid waste management (including bio-gas plants), natural resource management, resource/waste management, capacity building, local governance and livelihood
