Indian Radiology has lost its illustrious son, Dr. Hemant Patel, former President of IRIA and Hon. Secretary of AOSR. The untimely demise of Dr. Patel has left a void in the professional leadership of the entire Radiology community, including Radiographers & Radiological Technologists. His vision, wisdom, dedication and leadership has inspired many of our professionals. ISRT has a long association with Dr. Hemant Patel. Last year, we had a meeting at the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board, Mumbai together. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family members and Radiology fraternity.
