തിരു:അന്തർദേശീയ യുവജന ദിനത്തോടനുബന്ധിച്ച് തിരുവനന്തപുരം ഗൗരീശപട്ടം ലയൺസ് ക്ലബ്ബ് ഗവൺമെൻറ് ഗേൾസ് ഹയർ സെക്കൻഡറി സ്കൂൾ, പേരൂർക്കടയിൽ വച്ച് ലഹരി വിരുദ്ധ ക്യാമ്പയിൻ ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ടുള്ള ബോധവൽക്കരണ സെമിനാർ സംഘടിപ്പിച്ചു. പ്രസിഡൻറ് ലയൺ പി. ജയരാമൻ നായർ അധ്യക്ഷനായ സെമിനാറിന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം വൈസ് ഡിസ്ട്രിക്ട് ഗവർണർ ലയൺ വി അനിൽകുമാർ നിർവഹിച്ചു.ലയൺസ് പ്രിൻസിപ്പൽ ഡിസ്ട്രിക്ട് സെക്രട്ടറി ടി. ബിജു കുമാർ മുഖ്യ പ്രഭാഷണവും തിരുവനന്തപുരം എക്സൈസ് ഡെപ്യൂട്ടി കമ്മീഷണർ പി.എൽ.ഷിബു ക്ലാസുകൾ നയിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. റീജിയൻ ചെയർപേഴ്സൺ കെ രാധാകൃഷ്ണൻ, സോൺ ചെയർ പേഴ്സൺ ആർ.നന്ദൻ ഗോപിനാഥ്, സെക്രട്ടറി വിജയകുമാർ കെ,ട്രഷറർ അനിൽകുമാർ കെ, നിഷ ടീച്ചർ, വേണു എന്നിവർ സംസാരിച്ചു.

Gowreesapattom Lions Club has conducted Awareness campaign against drug abuse on 31.07.2025 at Govt Vocational Higher Secondary School, Pettah. Sri. P.L.Shibu, Deputy Commissioner of Excise conducted the class.

It was a proud moment for Gowreesapattom Lions club for having participated in the glorious mission of Kerala State Excise Department offering free PSC coaching classes to fifty tribal youth at kottoor.
The function organised in association with the kerala forest and wildlife department was inaugurated by hon. Aruvikkara MLA Shri G. Stephen in the presence of Chief Conservator of. Forest Shri. Shyam Mohan Lal IFS.

Gowreesapattom Lions club provided a White Board for the coaching centre.
The mission christened as
" തൊഴിലാണ് എൻറെ ലഹരി" is aimed at bringing the youth of Tribal regions of the State to the mainstream of the society by empowering them to understand one's goals and motivating them to achieve the same.
