Samatol Foundation, is a registered NGO, established in 2006, rescuing run away children on railway platforms in Mumbai. Family crises, academic failure, child labour, attraction of film industry are some of them. Most of these children stay on railway platforms and fall in bad hands. They invariably get addicted to substances and some even turn to criminal activity. Samatol Foundation makes frien
dship with such children, de-addicts them through a 45-day camp, runs a shelter for them, counsels them and in the end reunites them with their parents. So far, we have reunited more than 6000 runaway children with their families. This is a unique foundation, based on work being done in this field. We are trying to maintain social balance by providing the right opportunity for a child to progress and at the same time reducing criminals in the society. We appeal to socially conscious people to help us financially. You can help us in following ways –
1. Sponsoring a De-addiction and home placement camp - Rs. 1,50,000
(50% of total camp expenses)
2. Sponsoring average expense of home placement of a child - Rs. 15,000
3. Sponsoring average food expense of a child in camp/Shelter– Rs. 3,000
