Spaces for learning must be available with dignity and confidence.

This year’s batch of with nomadic-denotified, migrant, Adivasi, and Bahujan youth is gradually taking shape. After participating in the residential camp and the vibrant Jayanti celebrations, these young people completed an intensive full-day workshop. The training on explored how to develop a critical perspective towards media. What does it mean to critically engage with media? How do we build critical thinking around the narratives constantly pushed by media? The session unfolded beautifully around these discussions.

Media can become the fourth pillar of democracy. At the same time, media can also function as a mafia of dominant power structures. It is therefore important to critically examine media through the lens of gender, caste, class, environment, and labour.

At a time when the narratives of youth are being shaped and brainwashed by powerful media systems, creating spaces for such discussions becomes primary and necessary.

The in-depth understanding and practice of collective care discussed in this article, at organizational level, is a strong reminder of the importance of proximate leadership that is not tokenist, but substantial.

At Anubhuti, our Founder Director Deepa Pawar who comes from a , has brought fundamental changes to organizational culture, and these are aptly carried forward by the grassroot women-led team.

Grassroots definitions of care are not materialistic. They are collective, organic, nature-inspired, and quite radical. Those who experience pain and struggle, have always led the processes of care and are the knowledge holders of care. They are not passive receivers of care, but can be leaders of care practices, if they are heard and their knowledge respected.

Collective care in organisations must draw from grassroots community traditions and social justice values, not corporate HR templates or market-based solutions.

– Youth Cultural Fest
The event was a full-day experience blending thought, expression, and entertainment—featuring sessions, discussions, songs, dance, quizzes, artistic performances, film screenings, and presentations. It was truly an intellectual, emotional, and cultural fest.

A key focus was reflecting on the paths that lead us toward the ideals of Babasaheb Ambedkar, Mahatma Phule, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. There were in-depth discussions on value-based ethical grounding and how we, as inheritors of this legacy, should take on leadership roles.

The gathering explored how these ideas and experiences can shape our careers, personalities, thoughts, conduct, behavior, development, and overall worldview—through a rich, multidimensional exchange of perspectives.

The joint birth anniversary that is we commemorate in month of and is not merely a celebration of intellectual brilliance—it is a source of living, guiding light that continues to illuminate our collective path. This light does not belong to any one individual; it is shared among all of us, shaped by our histories, struggles, and aspirations. It reflects the spirit of unity, resilience, and continuous growth that binds us together as a society.

As we carry this radiance forward, we reaffirm our commitment to walk together—learning, evolving, and striving for a more just and inclusive future. We remain deeply inspired and dedicated to the transformative vision of Ba Bhima, Ba Jotiba, and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, whose ideals continue to shape our understanding of equality, dignity, and self-respect.

At the (ITI), , this spirit found meaningful expression through a full-day training program, successfully conducted with the enthusiastic participation of around 80 teachers and staff members. The program created a thoughtful and engaging space for dialogue, reflection, and learning.

The sessions focused on key areas such as mental health awareness, the importance of preserving and understanding our cultural heritage, and strengthening the foundations of justice through a constitutional lens. Participants actively engaged in discussions that encouraged not just awareness, but deeper introspection and collective responsibility.
In today’s ever-changing world, it becomes increasingly important to continue such efforts—building awareness, nurturing empathy, and strengthening our commitment to the core values of equality, fairness, and democracy. These are not just ideals to be spoken of, but principles to be practiced and lived every day.

Together, with shared purpose and renewed understanding, we move forward—steadfast in our journey toward a more just, aware, and compassionate society.

Distribution of Bicycles on the Occasion of
An initiative was taken to prevent school dropouts among 50 tribal girls. In this month, a total of 100 bicycles have been distributed.

Under the light of celebrations, rallies, workshops, and slogan campaigns were organized with great enthusiasm and joy.

There were detailed discussions about girls' rights and the strong legacy of social revolution created for women and girls, along with constitutional commitment. It was also discussed how parents can become true partners in the development of their daughters.

When it was announced that "This bicycle belongs only to the girls," the excitement and confidence on their faces were truly remarkable. An object becomes truly meaningful when it is not just an object but serves as a tool and a resource.
From Badlapur Rahtoli to Umbarvedha, 100 girls received bicycles in their hands. Each girl proudly and lovingly placed a blue flag on her bicycle.

This blue—symbolizing equality and self-respect—will surely create a bright blue sky in the lives of these girls. 🚲💙
