Rotary Club of Mira Road began this new Rotary year by continuing its cherished tradition of conducting the Anna Seva Project at an Old Age Home in Mira Road.

Our Members generously contributed towards providing foodgrains and essential grocery items. On 27th July, we had the privilege of visiting the Old Age Home to personally hand over these essentials and spend quality time with the elderly residents.

Listening to their stories, sharing a few smiles, and receiving their heartfelt blessings made the visit truly special.

A heartfelt thank you to all our Members for their generosity, compassion and selfless Service.
Together, we continue to make a meaningful difference in our Community.

Rotary Club of Mira Road organized a FREE HPV VACCINATION DRIVE for young Women of Mira Bhayandar area at SAI AASHIRWAD MATERNITY & NURSING HOME and ANSH HOSPITAL, run by it’s members Rtn. Dr. Ashok Shukla and Rtn. Dr. Maya Prasad on 16th, 17th and 18th of July 2026.

It is truly heartening to see so many young women and their families taking a proactive step towards preventing cervical cancer. Every vaccine administered today is an investment in a healthier future. The Camp was successfully completed with an overwhelming response from the community.

Ideal age group for this Vaccine is 9 - 27 years but can be given up to 45years, as HPV vaccination offers the greatest protection when given at a younger age.

In total 150 Vaccines were given in these 3 days of the Camp.

A heartfelt thanks to the entire Team at Sai Aashirwad Maternity & Nursing Home their dedicated staff, Rtn. Dr. Ashok Shukla and Dr. Rekha Shukla & Ansh Hospital, with their dedicated staff, Rtn. Dr. Maya Prasad and Rtn. Dr Mahesh Prasad.

Inspire Year District Shukriya was held on 28th June 2026, where the District Governor Dr. Manish Motwani felicitated and awarded the District Teams, Clubs & their Presidents for their active participation during the Inspire Year.

Rotary Club of Mira Road received Gold Club Award, which was received by Inspire President Rtn. Himanshu Tanwar.

Rtn. Dr. Sanjivv Gandhi and Rtn. Deepak Chawla received District Secretary Awards respectively and Rtn. Dr. Durgesh Aroor received the Assistant Governor Awards.

The Regal Year Directors Orientation Program (DOP) was successfully held on 14th June 2026 at Hotel Lemon Tree, Mira Road.

During the program, the Directors of our Club shared their visions and plans for the coming Regal Year. We were also privileged to have distinguished District Speakers who provided valuable guidance and insights to our Club Members and Directors.

The event commenced with breakfast and concluded with lunch after an informative and educative DOP session. The program proved to be highly enriching and inspiring for all participants, setting the tone for a successful and impactful Regal Year ahead.

We thank our President Himanshu Tanwar, President Elect Capt. S V Singh, CLP Chandrahas Palan and his Team for holding the successful D O P for incoming RCMR Directors & Club members.

MAKE YOUR TABLE LARGE

No one person or one relationship can fulfill every need. We lean on different people at different times, and that is why we must always keep making room at our table for more friends.

Rotary resonates deeply with this philosophy.

At my Rotary table, not everyone knows each other well. Some have never even met. Yet together, they form one of the most powerful support systems in the world.

I lean on different Rotarians at different times and in different ways. One offers wisdom, another encouragement, another opportunity, another simply a listening ear. No single friendship can provide everything, and no one person can always show up exactly when we need them.

That is the strength of Rotary's international brotherhood—nearly 1.2 million friends across the globe, over 6,400 friends in District 3141, and all your co members in our own club, all sitting at the same table of service and fellowship.

Rotary reminds us to keep adding chairs, welcoming new members, and building new friendships. Because we will never stop needing friends, and we will never stop learning from them.

In Rotary, our table is always large enough for one more friend.

FREE EYE CHECK-UP CAMPS & CATARACT SURGERIES

Following the 6 Eye Check-up Camps organized recently, 13 needy Patients were identified, and they successfully underwent Free Cataract Surgeries sponsored by our RCMR Club and our CSR Partner M/s, NYK India Pvt. Ltd. at M/s, Bhaktivedanta Hospital Mira Road.

To enquire about the Patient's well-being and recovery, our Club Members, along with Ms. Mamta Sharma, CSR Head of NYK India Pvt. Ltd., visited the Hospital.

The team interacted with the Patients and Hospital staff and was pleased to learn that all the Patients were recovering well after their Surgeries.

Responding promptly to a request from the local Police Station, Rotary Club of Mira Road donated and installed a Drinking Water Cooler to help provide clean and cool Drinking Water to Police personnel and visitors during the prevailing hot weather conditions.

Our Police force works tirelessly to maintain law and order and serves the community round the clock, often in challenging weather conditions.
This small gesture is a token of our appreciation for their dedicated service and commitment to public safety.

RCMR remains committed to supporting community needs and strengthening partnerships with institutions that work for the welfare of society.

The Installation Ceremony of our Club’s Regal President, Rtn. Capt. Shorya V. Singh, along with his Board of Directors, was conducted with great enthusiasm, warmth, and fellowship on 23rd May 2026.

We were honoured by the gracious presence of Chief Guest DGE Rtn. Rajan Dua, who attended the function along with his District Officers, adding prestige and inspiration to the occasion.

The evening reflected the true spirit of Rotary — leadership, service, and camaraderie — as members came together to welcome the new team and extend their best wishes for a successful Rotary year ahead.

2 New Members Rtn. Sanjay Panchal and Rtn. Namita Shrivastava were Inducted in our Club.

The Club's Quarterly E Bulletin GOODWILL was released by the Chief Guest on the occasion.

Adding joy to the celebrations was the Birthday celebration and Cake cutting by Rot. Ann Pankti Shah, making the occasion even more memorable and delightful for everyone present.

The program concluded with a delightful fellowship Dinner, filled with warmth, laughter, and togetherness.

We wish all the success to RCMR's Regal Year 2026-27.
