We are delighted to share that Udaan Welfare Foundation was felicitated by Thane Vaibhav, a reputed local newspaper. As part of its Golden Jubilee celebrations, Thane Vaibhav, along with SewaConnect and Creative Smiles Ltd., showcased our work and recognised 50 credible and committed NGOs from across Thane district.

Udaan Welfare Foundation is delighted to share that one of our bright 14-year-old students has received a new prosthetic leg worth ₹1.3 lakh, free of cost. We sincerely thank Yashwantrao Chavan Centre, co sponsors and Mr. Vinay Somani of Social Change Group for making this possible.

After losing his left limb in a road accident in 2020, he had outgrown his earlier prosthesis, leading to painful ulcers and irregular school attendance. With his widowed mother working as a cook, a replacement seemed unaffordable. This new support brings him comfort, mobility, and renewed hope for the future.

✨ Empowering Young Minds for a Brighter Future! ✨
Udaan Welfare Foundation successfully hosted a Career Guidance Session for the 70 students of 10th to 12th Std.
from the lesser privileged community on 25th January,2026.

The session filled with insights, inspiration, and real-world guidance to help students explore their career paths with confidence. 🎓
Dr. Roopali Deshpande, a veteran motivational speaker energised the participants, guiding them towards success in life and ways to achieve with consistency and dedication. She also guided them towards the importance of digital skilling, data analytics, graphics designing etc. as the need of the hour.
Mr. Vijay Sonawane, again a veteran in career guidance answered the participants queries and apprehensions and suggested them to be bold and forthcoming in taking risks in life to achieve credible success.
A big thank you to our esteemed speakers for sharing their knowledge, experiences, and valuable advice that truly motivated the students to think beyond limits and believe in their potential.
Together, we’re building informed, confident, and future-ready youth. 💡

Udaan Welfare Foundation is thrilled to announce the launching of high-quality, highly subsidised digital skill courses at our Saksham Community Centre, Thane, in partnership with Spoken Tutorials, IIT Bombay.

We invite schools, colleges, NGOs, community groups and well-wishers to refer deserving students X Std. and above who are eager to learn but lack access to quality digital education.

Courses include Programming, Web Development, Data Analytics, Animation & Graphics — with video lessons and hands-on practice.

We are happy to share that Udaan Welfare Foundation donated 3 desktop computers on 6th December 2025, to *Shri Harkishan English High School*, Tulsidham, Thane West for setting up computer lab in in their school. This is a school serving the lesser privileged students since several years. It has 148 students and many of their Alumini are well placed. Udaan has been associated with the school since 15 years.
We are hopeful that these desktops will help the students become digitally empowered over a period of time and make their career.

We are happy to share that Udaan Welfare Foundation donated 5 desktop computers on 8th November 2025, to *Ek Muthi Anaj* for setting up computer labs in Palghar district’s two Zila Parishad Schools at Somate (4 computers for 200 students - 1st to 8th Std.) and Barhanpur (1 computer for 30 students - 1st to 5th Std.)
We are hopeful that this project will help the tribal students become digitally empowered over a period of time and make their region prosperous.
