We are happy to share that Udaan Welfare Foundation distributed 200 raincoats to the young students of Navbal and Jaiswar Schools in Azadnagar, Thane, on the occasion of the 80th Independence Day.

We are grateful to Reliance Foundation for generously sharing these raincoats with our organisation and helping us bring comfort and care to the children during the monsoon.

🥁 *Music that Inspires. Rhythm that Transforms*. 🎶

Our heartfelt thanks to *Divine Drummers*, our long-standing supporters, for once again creating an unforgettable experience for the children at *Saksham Community Centre*. On *19th July 2026*, they conducted an energetic *Drumming Jam* for around *20 children aged 10–15 years*.

The children proudly showcased the rhythms and techniques they have learnt over the past sessions and were warmly applauded by the Divine Drummers team. Seeing their confidence, enthusiasm and joy on display was truly heartwarming.

During the two-hour session, the children learnt exciting new beats and rhythms, including those for the *Ganpati Aarti*. We are delighted to share that *Udaan Welfare Foundation* and *Divine Drummers* are planning to perform Ganpati Aartis at various Ganpati Mandals during the upcoming festival—giving our children a wonderful platform to showcase their talent before the community.

One particularly touching moment came from a child with *suspected ADHD*, who remained completely immersed in the drumming session. He stayed focused throughout, never once leaving his seat or becoming distracted—a remarkable achievement that reaffirmed the therapeutic power of music. We are hopeful that, through this journey, he too will become another of our success stories, joining the many children whose lives have been positively transformed through creative engagement.

We are delighted to share that we have successfully completed our *second Dental Implant procedure at the Dental Clinic, Saksham Community Centre, Azadnagar, Thane* on 18th July, 2026.

This achievement reflects our continued commitment to making *quality dental care available at subsidised rates*, ensuring that advanced dental treatments are accessible to the underserved sections of our community.

Our sincere appreciation goes to *our dedicated team* of Dental Surgeons—*Dr. Akshay Ranade*, *Dr. Divya Sawant*, and *Dr. Richa Gambhir* —and our committed Dental Assistants, *Ms. Khumekshana*and *Ms. Shivani*, whose expertise, dedication, and compassionate care made this possible.

Every milestone like this brings us one step closer to our vision of ensuring that no one is deprived of quality healthcare because of financial or social barriers.

Udaan Welfare Foundation got an opportunity to conduct Warli and Mandala Art activities as part of Sika India P. Ltd., a Swiss multinational’s Sika Day 2026, creating a unique platform where art became a medium for connection, learning and celebration at the Westin Hotel, Powai.
20 children from Udaan participated in the event on 11th June, 2026, where they stepped into the role of mentors, guiding Sika employees and their families through the intricate forms of Warli and Mandala art. Participants ranging in age from 4 to 50 years enthusiastically engaged in the activities, making the experience enjoyable and enriching for everyone involved.
The workshops fostered meaningful interactions between the children and participants, allowing the children to confidently share their creativity and skills while experiencing the joy of teaching.
In addition to the workshops, artwork created by the children was displayed and made available for sale, giving visitors an opportunity to appreciate and support their talent. The event concluded with a delightful meal for the children, adding to the memorable experience.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sika India P. Ltd. for inviting Udaan Welfare Foundation to be a part of this wonderful celebration and for providing our children with a platform to showcase their creativity, build confidence and create lasting memories.

🏆🌟Some firsts are unforgettable. This was one of them.
Udaan Welfare Foundation hosted its very first Carrom Tournament on 16th & 17th May 2026 at Saksham Community Centre, Thane — and what a two days it was! ♟️🎉
Players from Thane, Mumbai, Navi Mumbai and nearby regions came together for a tournament that truly reflected the spirit of community. From young children to senior citizens (7 to 87 years), beginners to seasoned players; district to national to international-level carrom champions — everyone of the 45+ shared the same board, the same excitement, and the same sporting spirit. 💚✨
For two days, carrom boards told stories. Day 1 saw players battle through the elimination rounds with focus, skill and composure as families and supporters cheered them on with enthusiasm. The energy, determination and community bonding was immense.
Day 2 turned up the heat. The quarter-finals to semi-finals to a breathtaking grand final produced moments that none of us will forget in a hurry. Several matches went down to the final striker, keeping players and spectators tense and engrossed till the very end. 🔥🙌
After a thrilling contest, Mr. Manish Patil was crowned the inaugural Udaan Welfare Foundation Carrom Champion amidst loud applause and celebration. The event concluded with a warm prize distribution ceremony honouring the champion, runner-up and all outstanding participants. 🏆✨
But beyond the prizes and titles — what stayed with us was the spirit in that room. The cheers. The handshakes. The smiles after every match, win or loss. That is what Udaan Welfare Foundation is truly about. 💚💛
The tournament became more than just a competition — it became a celebration of unity, sportsmanship and social harmony.
To every player who stepped up, every family that cheered, and every volunteer, sponsor, staff and supporter who made this possible — thank you for making this inaugural tournament a grand success. You didn’t just play a tournament. You became part of something truly special. 🚀💛

We are delighted to share that Udaan Welfare Foundation was felicitated by Thane Vaibhav, a reputed local newspaper. As part of its Golden Jubilee celebrations, Thane Vaibhav, along with SewaConnect and Creative Smiles Ltd., showcased our work and recognised 50 credible and committed NGOs from across Thane district.

Udaan Welfare Foundation is delighted to share that one of our bright 14-year-old students has received a new prosthetic leg worth ₹1.3 lakh, free of cost. We sincerely thank Yashwantrao Chavan Centre, co sponsors and Mr. Vinay Somani of Social Change Group for making this possible.

After losing his left limb in a road accident in 2020, he had outgrown his earlier prosthesis, leading to painful ulcers and irregular school attendance. With his widowed mother working as a cook, a replacement seemed unaffordable. This new support brings him comfort, mobility, and renewed hope for the future.

Udaan Welfare Foundation successfully hosted a Career Guidance Session for the 70 students of 10th to 12th Std.
from the lesser privileged community on 25th January,2026.

The session filled with insights, inspiration, and real-world guidance to help students explore their career paths with confidence. 🎓
Dr. Roopali Deshpande, a veteran motivational speaker energised the participants, guiding them towards success in life and ways to achieve with consistency and dedication. She also guided them towards the importance of digital skilling, data analytics, graphics designing etc. as the need of the hour.
Mr. Vijay Sonawane, again a veteran in career guidance answered the participants queries and apprehensions and suggested them to be bold and forthcoming in taking risks in life to achieve credible success.
A big thank you to our esteemed speakers for sharing their knowledge, experiences, and valuable advice that truly motivated the students to think beyond limits and believe in their potential.
