Hope and Pray that the Supereme Court becomes more compassionate and give a fair decision on the required penalties, not as a revenue model, but as a deterrent to animal abuser’s and cruelty !

A meeting was held today with Thane Municipal Commissioner Mr. Rao, Ms. Kshama Shirodker (TMC Dog Cell) and Mr. Prasad Patil (Arogya Department) regarding stray dog management and feeder-related concerns.

✅ Key Assurances Given by TMC:

Multiple proper shelters will be developed across Thane.

TMC will work jointly with dog feeders to ensure systematic allocation of designated feeding points.

All shelters will have an ABC (Animal Birth Control) center attached to them for sterilization and vaccination.

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) will be issued by TMC to housing societies to avoid conflicts between feeders and other residents and ensure uniform implementation.

Any dog picked up if not rabies affected then will be left back at the same location within 10 days

No illegal dog pick up is happening from TMC side even if any politician or corporators are committing such thing

Dedicated spots will be also provided inside RWA with joined discussion along side

🔹 The officials acknowledged the importance of cooperation between TMC, feeders, and residents for humane and effective stray dog management.

Further updates will be shared as implementation timelines and SOPs are released.

Today rescued a Dog with tumour from Jambli Naka.quite old, supposed to be a Don in Talao Pali market… name *Raja* !! 😍😊🙏🏼 have sent him to Swayambu and will be checked by Dr Karthik.
