Happy 80th Independence Day | Student Safety Campaign

CAWSE Foundation, in association with Thane Rural Police and Jondhale Knowledge City, Shahapur, organised a Student Safety & Community Awareness Programme for students from rural areas.

The programme was graced by Spl. IGP Shri Chandrakishor Mina, IPS, SP Shri Vinaykumar Rathod, IPS, Addl. SP Shri Anmol Mittal, IPS, and SDPO Shri Vishal Nagargoje, IPS.

From CAWSE Foundation, Shri Jitesh More, Director, Smt. Kalpana Jitesh More, Founder & Director, and the CAWSE Youth Team led the initiative.

Today, CAWSE Foundation, in collaboration with Thane Rural Police, successfully conducted two Student Safety Awareness Sessions in Shahapur. The Directors of CAWSE Foundation, Mrs. Kalpana More and Mr. Jitesh More, addressed the students and teachers on the importance of student safety, awareness, and responsible behaviour.

The first session was held at Archana Trust School & Junior College for students from 7th to 12th standard. The program was graced by Corporator Shri Vinod Kadam and Mrs. Sonali Kadam, who assured their support in creating safer communities by engaging and empowering the youth. Senior Police Inspector Shri Vilas Kadam also addressed the students, highlighting the importance of personal safety, responsible behaviour, and awareness.

The second session was conducted at R. S. Damani School & Junior College, where students from 8th to 10th standard participated enthusiastically and learned important do's and don'ts related to personal, cyber, and social safety.

A special highlight of the programme was an interactive street play (Pathnatya), through which important safety messages were conveyed to the students in a fun, engaging, and memorable manner. The lively performance helped the students understand key safety concepts while encouraging active participation and making the learning experience enjoyable.

The initiative was supported by Principal Shri Vimal Kanbhar and Mrs. Krishna Verma from Archana Trust School & Junior College, who appreciated the campaign and expressed their commitment to strengthening this student safety initiative.

Through these awareness programmes, CAWSE Foundation and Thane Rural Police continue to empower young minds with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to stay safe, responsible, and aware.

Today, CAWSE Foundation successfully conducted a Student Safety Awareness Session at Azad English High School, Wagle Estate, Thane, empowering 140 students of Classes 8th to 10th with essential knowledge on personal safety, cyber safety, and responsible decision-making.

On the occasion of the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons (30 July 2026), CAWSE Foundation, in coordination with Thane Rural Police, successfully conducted awareness sessions on human trafficking and student safety at the following institutions:

1. Sharda English School, Padgha – arranged the awareness session.
2. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Ashram School, Padgha

The awareness sessions were conducted by Shri Jitesh More, Mrs. Kalpana More (Director, CAWSE Foundation), and Adv. Sandhya Jadhav (Legal Advisor). The sessions focused on creating awareness among students about human trafficking, personal safety, online safety, identifying suspicious situations, and the importance of promptly reporting any concerns to the police or other trusted adults.
Padgha Police Station,PI Shri Pankaj Giri extended excellent cooperation and support in facilitating the awareness initiative.

The awareness programme was coordinated by PSI Rekha Jagdale.

Overall, the awareness activities were conducted successfully and received a very positive response from the students and school authorities. CAWSE Foundation remains committed to working in close coordination with Thane Rural Police to strengthen awareness, prevention, and community engagement efforts against human trafficking.

🌼 Guru Purnima Special 🌼

Blessed to celebrate Guru Purnima with the students of Padmavati English School. A heartfelt thank you to Kalwa Police Station, especially PI Navde and HC Vijay Patil, for their support.

Despite foot pain, Mrs. Kalpana More inspired students with a powerful message on safety and responsible living.

Special thanks to our youth team—Rudra, Bhagyashree, and Soumit—for their excellent coordination.

The Beginning of a New Era in Student Safety – CAWSE 2.0

Under the joint initiative of the Thane Police Commissionerate and CAWSE Foundation, a comprehensive presentation of the CAWSE 2.0 initiative was made before the principals of 65 schools and colleges from Badlapur. The initiative focuses on student safety, career guidance, future-ready skills, and youth leadership.

The program was held at Adarsh Vidya Mandir, Badlapur.

The event was graced by the distinguished presence of Hon. Deputy Commissioner of Police Sachin Gore (Circle 4, Ulhasnagar), Assistant Commissioner of Police Shri Sachin Kale (Ambernath Division), Senior Police Inspector Shri Kishor Shinde (Badlapur West Police Station), Senior Police Inspector Shri Nitin Patil (Badlapur East Police Station), and Shri.Kailas Jamnaik from the Education Department.

During the program, Shri Jitesh More introduced the CAWSE for Causes initiative. Following this, Smt. Kalpana More elaborated on the objectives and vision of CAWSE 2.0 and appealed to all school and college heads to actively participate in this student safety campaign. She emphasized the need for collective efforts to create awareness among students regarding anger management, de-addiction, cyber safety, and challenges in social behavior, while also guiding them towards career opportunities, life skills, and a strong future.

On this occasion, Rudra More mark his presence on Young Leadership, inspiring the audience with the message of building responsible, confident, and socially aware leadership among youth.

It was highlighted that this initiative is not merely a program but a large-scale movement towards ensuring a safe, empowered, and future-ready life for students.

The successful launch of CAWSE 2.0 marks the beginning of a collective call to action: “Safe Schools, Empowered Youth, and a Bright Future.”
