Anti to***co cell was formed on 31-10-11 under Community Oncology Department of Malabar Cancer Centre. The members of the cell were eminent personalities from different walks of life. Teachers, Journalists, Social activists, writers etc. The main aim of cell is to educate the student community on the menace posed by the to***co use. mbers , Dr. Satheeshan Balasubramaniam as chairman , Dr. Ramachandran V as Joint Conveners , Dr . Neethu A.P, Dr . Philip as member conveners and major P Govindan, Dayanandan Master , Chalakkara Purushu, Pradeep Master as executive members. The formal inauguration of the cell was done by Distict Collector of Kannur Sree. Anand singh IAS on Nov 17th 2011 .The cell publishes the anti to***co quarterly news letter NETHI. The e-edition of the NETHI is available in MCC website.
