Rotary Club of Tezpur and Inner Wheel Club of Tezpur Celebrate 80th Independence Day
The Rotary Club of Tezpur, in association with the Inner Wheel Club of Tezpur, celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India at Rotary Udyan, Ganesh Ghat, Tezpur.
The celebration brought together senior members, past and present office bearers, and members of both organisations to commemorate the nation's Independence and reflect on the values of service, community, and social responsibility.
As part of the occasion, the members resolved to place greater emphasis on women's empowerment through health and vaccination initiatives, particularly by reaching out to underprivileged and underserved sections of the community. The initiative reflects the organisations' commitment to promoting not only awareness but also greater access to preventive healthcare.
The gathering provided an opportunity for members to come together in the spirit of service, unity, and responsibility towards society, while reaffirming their commitment to initiatives that can contribute meaningfully to the health and well-being of the community.
The celebration concluded with a renewed resolve to carry forward the spirit of Independence through service to society and empowerment of those who need it most.
