The Estate, in a collaborative effort with the Rotary Club of Tezpur, recently concluded a highly successful online essay competition themed "Futuristic Tezpur - The Town I want to lead, Shape and Belong To." The competition, open to students from Classes 6 to 12, aimed to engage young minds in envisioning and articulating their ideal future for Tezpur.
The initiative garnered significant attention, amplified by an extensive promotional campaign. This included the strategic placement of 12 hoardings across Tezpur, Rangapara, and Dhekiajuli, along with banners displayed at approximately 200 diverse locations in and around Tezpur. A robust online campaign further extended the reach of the competition.
This widespread outreach resulted in an impressive response, with a total of 156 essays submitted. A distinguished panel of judges meticulously reviewed these entries, ultimately selecting the top three essays that best captured the spirit and aspirations of the theme.
To celebrate the achievements of the young participants, an event was organized yesterday, August 31st, 2023, at the site office of The Estate. During this ceremony, the top three essayists were recognized with certificates and presented with a tab each, acknowledging their insightful contributions to the vision of a futuristic Tezpur.
