A new chapter in Buddhist education begins!

Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Avasiya Vidyalaya, Shyaro, has officially started Buddhist Dialectics (Tsa-Nge) classes following the appointment of a Buddhist Philosophy teacher by the Being Monpa Foundation (BMF).

Our heartfelt gratitude to the villagers, the teaching staff, and the school administration for their wholehearted support in making this initiative possible.

Today, the Being Monpa Foundation (BMF), led by President Tenzin Dhargey and the Central Executive Members, visited Dahung University to meet the students and listen to their grievances regarding the ongoing strike against the Director and the Administrative Officer.

The meeting was attended by the Secretary General of the Monpa Mimang Tsokpa (MMT) and his team, Shri Nabam Gandhi, Vice President (Protocol) of AAPSU and his team, representatives from DSU West Kameng, DSU Tawang, Tawang Middle Zone Students' Union (TMZSU), and ARGSU.

The discussion was constructive and fruitful, with all stakeholders listening to the students' concerns and expressing their commitment to supporting a fair and peaceful resolution. We hope the university administration addresses the genuine grievances of the students at the earliest through meaningful dialogue.

Peaceful Protest Rally Held at Tawang in Support of Shri Sonam Wangchuk

A peaceful protest rally was held today in Tawang in solidarity with Shri Sonam Wangchuk and to express support for education reforms and transparency.

The rally, organized by the Tawang Middle Zone Students' Union, began at Buddha Park and concluded at the Old Market, Tawang, with students and citizens participating peacefully. Today, Kyabje Khen Rinpoche-la of Gaden Jangtse Monastery, along with the monastery administration, Lama Umze, and the administration of Tawang Monastery, visited Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Avasiya Vidyalaya, Shobur, to review the progress of the Buddhist Philosophy classes recently introduced through the initiative of the Being Monpa Foundation (BMF).

During the visit, Kyabje Khen Rinpoche-la interacted with the students and teachers, highlighting the importance of Buddhist philosophy, moral values, compassion, and the preservation of our rich cultural and spiritual heritage.
