🌟 Empowering Women – One Stitch at a Time! 🌟

As part of the "Stitching Her Path" Women Tailoring Programme, 30 tailoring machines were distributed to women in Kondagunturu, Rajanagaram Mandal, East Godavari. 💪🧵

This life-changing initiative is supported by SARDS, in association with ONGC (SC/ST Component Plan Fund) and AISCSTEWA, aiming to promote self-employment and financial independence among women. 🙌

On 4th August 2025, Smt. Thameem Ansaria, IAS, Hon’ble District Collector of Prakasam District, presented Release Certificates to 39 bonded labourers rescued from aquaculture farms in Velagapudi and Kesupalem, Tangutur Mandal.

FIRs have been registered, wage recovery processes initiated, and travel arrangements made to facilitate their safe return to their home states.

The event was attended by representatives from the Chhattisgarh Rescue Team, RDO, PD-WD&CW, Tahsildar, Labour Department, DCPU, BBM-DRC, SARDS, JRC, AVA, and IJM.
