Completion of Training on Peace Building & Conflict Transformation.
We are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the 3-day intensive training program on “Peace Building & Conflict Transformation,” held from March 23–25, 2026, at DSSS, Mantripukhri, Imphal West.
This significant initiative was made possible through a strategic collaboration between the Henry Martyn Institute (HMI) and the United NGOs Mission-Manipur (UNM-M), with the support of the Indigenous Women and Children Foundation (IWCF).
We extend our deepest gratitude to our esteemed resource person, Dr. Aküm Longchari, for his invaluable expertise in navigating the complexities of mediation and restorative dialogue.
A special note of appreciation goes to the participants from the Rongmei Baptist Churches Council (RBCC).
Together with our partners, we remain dedicated to equipping community leaders with the tools necessary for sustainable healing and justice.

Cultivating Change, One Bloom at a Time
From Tamenglong’s blooms to global dreams — empowered by Dianthe Private Limited, founded by Ms. K. Chokhone Krichena, The Flower Lady of Manipur.

This International Women’s Day, IWCF partnered with the Green Eden Gardener’s Club for a special training program dedicated to female empowerment and environmental sustainability.

Under the theme “Give to Gain”, 76 women learned how to harness Tamenglong’s rich biodiversity. Led by Ms. Krichena, the sessions highlighted chemical-free floriculture, traditional indigenous knowledge, and sustainable agro-businesses.

We are proud to equip local women with the tools to generate income, revive traditional practices, and lead the way toward a greener future.

From Power to Permanence: When Women rise, Rights Take Roots.

The Indigenous Women and Children Foundation (IWCF) recently stepped into a powerful learning space at a 2 Day Training on Women Leadership & Women Land Rights, organized by Realm of Nature Based Actions. (RNBA) on 20-21 January 2026, with the generous support of the Womanity Foundation.

Theme that set the tone was Enhancing Women Empowerment Ecosystem in Northeast India through Organizational Development.
This immersive training was more than sessions and discussion-it was a called to action. Women leaders and social workers came together to explore leadership, land ownership, and organization strength as tools for lasting change, A social worker from IWCF actively participated.

Why leadership and land matters: When women lead community listen. when women own land, future shift. Leadership back by lands rights transform participation into power- and present into permanence. Empower women don't just change lives. They change systems.
