Rainforest Club Tamenglong, a Tamenglong based non-profit organisation is formed by a group of volunteers who actively thrive for a better Tamenglong by engaging themselves in various social activities and campaigns relating to conservation of environment and wildlife in the district. To carry out environmental awareness activities addressed to specific groups and to our society in general. To pro

mote and develop by our own initiative or by third party request, reports, projects, training activities, studies or opinions related to environmental management systems and labels.

2. Provide a forum for bringing together experiences related to natural and built environment from individuals, institutions and organizations.

3. We strive for the protection of the environment as well as the recovery and preservation of biodiversity by considering the impacts of our corporate activities upon biodiversity.

4. Encouragement of volunteers and active participation of young people in environmental protection
reinforcement of active participation in regards to environment protection and issues.

5. To Create awareness regarding environmental pollution and environmental degradation, and its effect(s) on human health, social set-up, economy and politics.

6. The club also aims to Mobilize/organize and train/enable communities for collective actions to promote sustainable development, and to achieve it through promoting values of civil society.
