The life of a human being is most important gift of God. Preserving it, is considered the utmost duty of every person towards the Almighty. By an estimate, there are about 20 Lac people suffering from kidney failure in our country and around 2 Lac such patients are added to these figures

every year. There is a similar situation in cases of those suffering from failure of liver, pancreas, eyes etc. To provide hope and help to these ‘organ failure patients’ and bring a new lease of life to them, Mr. Nilesh Mandlewala has dedicated his life for this noble cause. In 2005, under the JEEVAN DAN program of the India Renal Foundation, he started the drive for the donation of organs belonging to brain dead patients. Today, with the support and encouragement from renowned personalities of the country, his dreams have taken giant steps towards humanity. Now an NGO named “Donate Life” has been established with the help of Shri Sandeep Kumar IRS,Shri Rakesh Jain, Shri Hemant Desai, Shri Hiren Diwan, Shri Ramesh Malpani,Shri Nirmal Sukh Baijal, other trustee members, hundreds of volunteers and thousands of well-wishers. A dream initiated from single kidney donation in 2006, has now so many smiling families whose members received organs and have been given another chance of life. Let us join hands and turn this initiative into a huge success. We are committed to spread awareness about cadever organ donation nationwide and subsequently worldwide. Your love, blessings, concerns and support will help us save many lives in the times to come.

शिक्षकों के माध्यम से छात्रों मे फैलेगा अंगदान - जीवनदान का संदेश।

Veer Narmad South Gujarat University के नव-नियुक्त 150+ शिक्षकों के सेमिनार में Donate Life के संस्थापक पद्मश्री Nilesh Mandlewala ने अंगदान-जीवनदान पर मार्गदर्शन दिया।

उन्होंने कहा कि शिक्षक ही समाज के निर्माता हैं। यदि वे छात्रों में मानवता और अंगदान के संस्कार सिंचित करेंगे तो यह केवल जागरूकता नहीं, सामाजिक क्रांति बनेगी। वर्ष 2047 तक भारत में कोई भी मरीज अंगों के अभाव में जान न गँवाए, यह हमारा संकल्प होना चाहिए।

कार्यक्रम में कुलपति डॉ. किशोरसिंह चावड़ा सहित सभी शिक्षकों ने अंगदान अभियान में सहयोग का संकल्प लिया।

अंगदान जनजागृति के लिए ऐतिहासिक पहल: युवा बनेंगे मिशन "YODHA" के सारथि !

अंगदान क्षेत्र में दो दशकों से सेवारत Donate Life और Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU) के बीच अंगदान-जीवनदान का संदेश छात्रों और समाज में फैलाने के लिए महत्वपूर्ण MOU हुआ।

इस साझेदारी का मुख्य उद्देश्य NSS, MSW और अन्य छात्रों में अंग-टिश्यू दान की जागरूकता बढ़ाना है। अनुबंध के तहत छात्रों को डोनेट लाईफ में ट्रांसप्लांट को-ऑर्डिनेटर की इंटर्नशिप और रोजगार के अवसर उपलब्ध कराना है।

मिशन "YODHA" - Youth Organ Donation Health Awareness

विकसित भारत 2047 के विजन को साकार करने के लिए डोनेट लाईफ का संकल्प है कि 2047 तक कोई भी मरीज अंगों के अभाव में जान न गँवाए। इसके लिए युवाओं को "YODHA" के रूप में जोड़कर अंगदान का पावन संदेश घर-घर पहुंचाया जाएगा।

ऑर्गन मेन ऑफ ईन्डिया पद्मश्री Nilesh Mandlewala, कुलपति डॉ. किशोरसिंह चावड़ा, रजिस्ट्रार डॉ. आर.सी. गढ़वी सहित गणमान्य लोग उपस्थित रहे। यह MOU का उद्देश्य राज्य और देश में अंगदान के बारे मे क्रांति लाकर लाखों मरीजों को नवजीवन की आशा देना है।

શિક્ષકોના માધ્યમથી વિધાર્થીઓમાં ફેલાશે અંગદાન-જીવનદાનનો સંદેશ

Veer Narmad South Gujarat University ના નવનિયુક્ત ૧૫૦ થી વધુ યુવા શિક્ષકો માટે આયોજિત અંગદાન જનજાગૃતિ સેમિનારમાં Donate Life ના સંસ્થાપક પદ્મશ્રી Nilesh Mandlewala એ અંગદાન-જીવનદાનનું માર્ગદર્શન આપ્યું.

તેમણે કહ્યું કે શિક્ષકો જ સમાજના ઘડવૈયા છે. જો તેઓ વિદ્યાર્થીઓમાં માનવતા અને અંગદાનના સંસ્કાર સીંચશે તો આ જાગૃતિ નહીં, સામાજિક ક્રાંતિ બનશે. વર્ષ ૨૦૪૭ સુધીમાં દેશમાં કોઈ દર્દી અંગોના અભાવે જીવ ન ગુમાવે એ આપણો સંકલ્પ હોવો જોઈએ.

કાર્યક્રમમાં કુલપતિ ડૉ. કિશોરસિંહ ચાવડા સહિત ઉપસ્થિત સૌ શિક્ષકોએ અંગદાન અભિયાનમાં સહયોગનો સંકલ્પ લીધો.

एक बेटे की पीड़ा से जन्मा अंगदान का यह महा-अभियान !

पद्मश्री सम्मानित, Donate Life के संस्थापक श्री Nilesh Mandlewala जी ने साझा की अपनी प्रेरणादायक यात्रा। साल 1997 में जब उनके पिता की किडनी खराब हुई और 2004 में डायलिसिस शुरू हुआ, तब उन्होंने डायलिसिस वार्ड में कम उम्र के मरीजों के दर्द को बहुत करीब से महसूस किया। इसी दर्द ने साल 2005 में सूरत से 'अंगदान - जीवनदान' के एक बड़े आंदोलन की नींव रखी।

दर्द से शुरुआत हुई, आज लाखों चेहरों पर मुस्कान है।

यदि किसी मरीज को अंग की आवश्यकता (Organ Transplant) है, तो सही और कानूनी तरीका क्या है?

Donate Life के माध्यम से जानिए पूरी प्रक्रिया। जिस भी मरीज को ट्रांसप्लांट की ज़रूरत है, उन्हें देश के मान्यता प्राप्त अस्पतालों में जाकर अपना पंजीकरण (Registration) कराना होता है। इसके बाद अस्पताल उस मरीज का नाम SOTTO Gujarat (State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation) और NottoIndia (National Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation) में दर्ज करता है, जिससे पूरी प्रक्रिया पारदर्शी और सुरक्षित रूप से पूरी होती है।

पद्मश्री सम्मान के साथ बढ़ी हमारी ज़िम्मेदारी! Donate Life का एक ही सबसे बड़ा मिशन है कि साल 2047 तक जब हमारा देश आज़ादी का शताब्दी वर्ष मना रहा होगा, तब भारत में किसी भी व्यक्ति की मृत्यु 'अंग न मिलने' के कारण नहीं होनी चाहिए। इस बड़े लक्ष्य को हासिल करने के लिए हम देश के युवाओं (Youth) को तैयार कर रहे हैं, क्योंकि युवा ही देश की असली ताकत हैं। आइए, इस मिशन में हमारे साथ जुड़ें और देश को अंगदान के क्षेत्र में आत्मनिर्भर बनाएं।
