ily growing not only in numbers but also in terms of understanding and awareness about the body, mind and spirit on the mat and off the mat as well. Classes are conducted four times in a week; twice each for intermediate and beginner students. Practices are led by Dr. Sonal Jain (physiotherapist) and Dr. Nandini Limdi (ophthalmologist) with frequent visits of senior Iyengar yoga teachers from Light on yoga research trust (LOYRT), Mumbai. The aim of this group is to continue practising Iyengar yoga in its purest form and spread the awareness about it and teachings of Guruji among the general public. This is the only group /centre of Iyengar Yoga in Surat acknowledged by Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute; Pune and Light on Yoga Research Trust; Mumbai.

We remember Geetaji on her 7th punyatithi. Her commitment, faith, dedication & devotion in yoga was exemplary. Through her teachings & compassion she touched hearts of millions of her students. If Guruji is the father of Iyengar yoga, Geetaji is the mother of Iyengar yoga. We bow down to her divine soul 🙏🙏🙏
