" Kartavya - A part of life " is a non-profit human welfare organisation founded on 3rd May, 2011. Flowering from the idea of a handful of people, we have grown to about 50 volunteers. As evident from our vision and mission, our focus areas are road safety, environment, poverty and education. Our endeavors are aimed towards relieving the earth from pollution and making it greener; helping the poor
, orphans and the unprivileged and spreading awareness about important social issues. We have successfully organised several events related to environment and human welfare during which we received great support and appreciation from the general public. Events such as Tree Plantation Drives, Cloth and Books Donation Campaign, Blood Donation Campaign, Traffic Awareness Campaign, etc. are being organised on a regular basis. Currently we do not have any external source of funding and all the projects have been self-financed by our volunteers. However, we welcome any generous contribution from others. We as a group feel indebted and responsible towards the society and the world and thus have made ‘Kartavya’, a part of our lives!
