🌿 Empowering Women through Pine Needle Craft! 🌿

The Second Phase of the Pine Needle Craft Training Programme was inaugurated at Banuti, Shimla by Mrs. Mamta Paul, District Programme Officer (DPO), Women & Child Development Department, Shimla.

Implemented by HelpingHand Organisation with the support of CMS Info Foundation, the programme will provide 20 days of hands-on training to 30 rural women in pine needle product making, along with entrepreneurship, packaging, and marketing skills.

During the event, Mrs. Mamta Paul also created awareness about 1098 Child Helpline, 181 Women Helpline, and various State and Central Government welfare schemes for women and children.

Together, we are transforming a natural resource into sustainable livelihoods and empowering women towards financial independence. 🌱💚

हिमाचल प्रदेश के माननीय लोक निर्माण एवं शहरी विकास मंत्री विक्रमादित्य सिंह जी की गरिमामयी उपस्थिति में आज एक ऐतिहासिक क्षण देखने को मिला।

टाटा पावर और उषा इंटरनेशनल के सहयोग से हेल्पिंग हैंड वेलफेयर एंड एजुकेशन ट्रस्ट के माध्यम से 300 महिला उद्यमियों को स्वरोजगार हेतु सिलाई किट वितरित की गई।

मंत्री महोदय ने कहा कि महिलाएं समाज और परिवार के उत्थान में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभा रही हैं तथा ग्रामीण अर्थव्यवस्था को सशक्त बनाने में अग्रणी हैं। उन्होंने महिलाओं द्वारा तैयार किए गए उत्पादों की प्रदर्शनी का अवलोकन किया और उनकी मेहनत, लगन एवं आत्मनिर्भरता की सराहना की।

उन्होंने हेल्पिंग हैंड वेलफेयर एंड एजुकेशन ट्रस्ट को भविष्य में भी हर संभव सहायता प्रदान करने का आश्वासन दिया।

यह पहल महिला सशक्तिकरण और आत्मनिर्भर भारत की दिशा में एक मजबूत कदम है।
