“Aashirwad Foundation Maths Premier League” was organized at Mo. So. Vidyalaya, Borli Panchatan.
The initiative was aimed at developing genuine interest of students in the subject and helping to reduce fear of mathematics.
The competition was focused on strengthening the mathematical foundation of students and improving logical and analytical thinking.
Mathematics was presented in an enjoyable, simple, and confidence-building learning experience.
More than 100 students from standards 7th to 9th participated from five Janta Shikshan Sanstha schools in Shrivardhan taluka. These included schools from Borli, Adgaon, Bharadkhol, Mendadi, and nearby areas.
The competition followed a game-based format with quizzes, mathematical puzzles, and speed-and-accuracy rounds. Preparation before the actual competition made the key difference to create the interest.
Multiple teams from each school participated, and winning teams were awarded trophies and certificates.
The organizers expressed confidence that this initiative would positively change students’ outlook towards mathematics.
It aimed to promote joyful learning while building self-confidence through a competitive environment.
Valuable guidance was provided by Prof. Shri Ranpise Sir of Ranpise Maths Classes, Mangaon.
The event was successfully supported by office bearers of Janta Shikshan Sanstha and members of the Aashirwad Foundation.
