General Memorandum on Institutional Discipline and Compliance
The International Human Rights Organization (IHRO), under the authority of its Global President Dr. Nem Singh Premi and his Deputy Dr. Mohamed Barhoumi, hereby issues this memorandum to all IHRO Ambassadors, Regional Directors, and Chapter Presidents worldwide.
The Organization emphasizes the absolute necessity of full compliance with its directives and professional standards. Any individual, regardless of position or designation, who deviates from IHRO’s institutional framework may be dismissed immediately by a single decision from the leadership.
The Organization reiterates the following:
Integrity and accountability are the unifying standards for all IHRO members.
Zero tolerance for unethical practices, unprofessional conduct, or attempts to exploit IHRO’s mission for personal or financial gain.
All appointments and mandates are strictly conditional upon adherence to IHRO’s principles and instructions.
Any violation of these standards will result in strict disciplinary measures, including permanent exclusion from IHRO.
This memorandum follows the decision taken yesterday regarding the dissolution of the Jammu and Kashmir Chapter Board and Management Team. That decision serves as a clear notification to all members that IHRO will act firmly to safeguard its dignity, transparency, and legitimacy in carrying out its humanitarian mission.
IHRO remains steadfast in its commitment to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct, and will not permit any breach that undermines the essence of human rights work.
Chapter on Institutional Discipline and Strictness
The Organization declares unequivocally that any violation or departure from its institutional framework, or any attempt to exploit its mandate for illegitimate gain, will be met with decisive and immediate action. No one, regardless of position or title, enjoys immunity from IHRO’s internal law.
This also includes addressing any authority, government, or sovereign institutions in any country for the purpose of notification and necessary action, including judicial accountability if required, against any individual, wherever they may be.
Absolute compliance with IHRO’s standards is the principle that unites us all, and any breach will be met with immediate dismissal and permanent exclusion. Let what occurred yesterday stand as a practical translation of what IHRO means by full compliance, in defense of its dignity, legitimacy, and global human rights reputation.
