On this Children’s Day, HWVO proudly marked an important milestone in its adolescent development initiatives.
Today, on 14th November 2025, Human Welfare Voluntary Organization inaugurated Adolescent Learning Centers at Buran and Gund Ibrahim, Pattan, Baramulla.
The event was attended by Gender Response Group (GRG) members and other key community figures, whose presence added a strong sense of commitment and partnership to the occasion.
During the inauguration, a detailed orientation session was held with adolescent girls and GRG members. The session outlined the aims, objectives, and overall vision of the program, emphasizing its focus on enhancing learning, building life skills, and creating safe, supportive spaces for young people.
A key highlight of the event was the active support and assurance given by the GRG members. They expressed their readiness to back the initiative, monitor the centers, and work closely with the team to ensure smooth implementation. Their encouragement reinforced that this is not merely an organizational effort, but a community-driven commitment to the well-being and development of adolescents.
Overall, the day set a promising tone for the journey ahead. With clear goals, strong community involvement, and a shared sense of responsibility, these centers are well-positioned to become vibrant spaces for growth, confidence-building, and meaningful learning.
