JK Poor Peoples Voice Trust Organizes Free Medical Check-up Camp for Girl Students in Collaboration with Lal Ded Hospital, Srinagar
Srinagar, July 29, 2026: JK Poor Peoples Voice Trust, in collaboration with Lal Ded Hospital, Srinagar, successfully organized a free medical check-up camp today at Jamia Islamia Fatimatu Zahra, Budshah Nagar, Natipora, Srinagar.
The camp was conducted with the objective of promoting preventive healthcare and improving health awareness among underprivileged girl students studying at the madrasa. A team of experienced doctors and healthcare professionals from Lal Ded Hospital examined more than 150 students during the camp.
The medical team carried out comprehensive health assessments and addressed a range of health concerns affecting adolescent girls. The doctors provided medical consultations, prescribed necessary treatment where required, and educated the students about personal hygiene, nutrition, menstrual health, and the importance of regular health check-ups.
Speaking on the occasion, representatives of JK Poor Peoples Voice Trust emphasized that access to quality healthcare is a basic right and that such initiatives are essential for ensuring the well-being of children from economically weaker sections of society.
