we extend our heartfelt condolences to the Sheikh family of Brein on the sad demise of Mr. Mohd. Ibrahim Sheikh, R/O opposite Bashir Bakrey's Lane, Brein, Srinagar.
His passing is a great loss to the family and the community. He had been unwell for some time, and we pray that Almighty Allah grants him eternal peace.
May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, bless him with His infinite mercy, and grant him the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous. May Allah also give strength, patience, and courage to the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss. Ameen.

With profound grief, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family on the sad demise of Late Mrs. Raja Bano, beloved wife of Ab Ahad Sheikh, resident of Sheikh Mohallah, Brein.
May Almighty Allah (SWT) forgive her shortcomings, shower His infinite mercy upon her, grant her the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous, and bless the bereaved family with patience and strength during this difficult time.
Rasm-e-Chaharum will be be observed tomorrow (Sunday, 28th June 2026) at 5:30 AM at Sheikh Mohallah, Brein. Family, relatives, friends, and well-wishers are kindly requested to attend and offer Dua for the departed soul.

Residents of Brein Nishat, near the famous Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, are facing severe difficulties during the ongoing tulip season due to heavy traffic congestion on the Boulevard Road along Dal Lake.

Locals say that the influx of tourists leads to long traffic jams, causing inconvenience in daily life, delays in emergencies, and disruption of routine activities.

The residents have urged the government to take immediate action and approve the construction of a four-lane road on the Boulevard stretch to ease traffic pressure and ensure smooth movement for both locals and visitors.

They emphasized that this issue becomes critical every year during the tulip bloom season and requires urgent attention from the authorities

It is with profound sorrow and a heavy heart that we mourn the untimely passing of Mr Jahangir Majeed ,Resident of Pati Brein Nishat, who passed away yesterday In Delhi Fortis Escosts Hospital. He was a very kind hearted person.
May Allah Ta’ala grant him the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdaus. He was famous cricketer of the area
