*Srinagar, May 2, 2026*:
A delegation of the Kashmir Road Safety Foundation, led by its Chairman Mr. Nasir Ali Khan, today called on the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, at Lok Bhawan.

During the meeting, the delegation held a detailed discussion on the ongoing Nasha Mukt Abhiyan in Jammu & Kashmir, with a particular focus on addressing the critical issue of transportation under the influence of drugs. The Foundation emphasized the urgent need for strengthened awareness, enforcement, and community participation to tackle this growing concern and ensure safer roads across the region.

The delegation also proposed the creation of dedicated Youth Clubs in educational institutions aimed at curbing drug abuse among young people. These clubs would serve as platforms for awareness, engagement, and behavioral change, empowering students to become ambassadors of a drug-free society.

The members of the Foundation congratulated the Hon’ble Lt. Governor for the successful launch of the 100 Days Nasha Mukt Abhiyan in Jammu & Kashmir. They appreciated the administration’s proactive approach, noting that the campaign is making a significant impact in safeguarding lives and steering the youth towards a healthier and more responsible future.
