*ASP Chief Bhai Tej Singh Slams Government Over Red Fort Attack, Demands Transparent Investigation*
*Questioning the timing of recurring terror incidents, Singh asked, “Why do attacks happen around elections?” He accused the government of failing to ensure national security and using communal divisions for political advantage, urging an independent and impartial probe into the Red Fort attack.*
Srinagar, November 12: National President of the Ambedkar Samaj Party, Bhai Tej Singh, on Wednesday reacted sharply to the recent terrorist attack at Delhi’s Red Fort, calling it part of a recurring pattern similar to the Pulwama and Pahalgam attacks. Speaking to the media in Srinagar, Singh said the timing and ex*****on of such incidents raise serious questions about their motives and beneficiaries.
Singh claimed that these attacks share a common goal — to spread fear and create communal divisions. He suggested that those behind the incidents often have links to both local and external networks and questioned whether some of these could be state-sponsored. “Why do these attacks happen just before or during elections?” he asked. “Why are certain regions like Kashmir repeatedly targeted while other areas remain peaceful? These questions need answers.”
He urged investigating agencies to thoroughly examine the origin of the vehicles and materials used in the attack to ensure nothing was stolen or deliberately planted. Singh also pointed out the pattern of violence surrounding elections, calling it deeply troubling.
Referring to past tragedies, he reminded the public that the Pulwama attack alone claimed at least 40 lives. Singh accused the ruling BJP government of failing in its duty to protect the nation and instead focusing on divisive politics. “They call themselves nationalists but do not act in the nation’s interest,” he said. “This government has failed the people. The Home Ministry, intelligence, and security forces all report to them — yet such major lapses keep happening.”
He questioned how large quantities of explosives could move across regions undetected and why evidence often appears inconsistently through various agencies. “This raises doubts about transparency and coordination,” Singh said, demanding full accountability from the authorities.
Turning his attention to Jammu and Kashmir, Singh said the valley should be a place where citizens can live freely and safely. “Kashmiris want peace and normalcy,” he said. “Instead of improving conditions, the government continues to target the region and its people. The situation is deteriorating, and this must stop.”
He ended his address by calling for a neutral and comprehensive investigation into the Red Fort attack and appealed to all political parties to put national unity and the safety of citizens above vote-bank politics.
